I don't believe it was a store promo. It has 5 playable demos on it for Sonic Adventure DX, Splinter Cell, Soul Calibur 2, Billy Hatcher, & Viewtiful Joe. It also has some movies of f-zero, windwaker and others. I'm not sure what this disc was originally packaged with. I got mine used from gamestop a while back.
