Um....you realize that the Stream part kinda implies that...

To keep things on topic, this is the Director's Cut version. What make this different than the non-Director's Cut edition?

Hmm. Man, so many Steam sales lately...

Though, going through Ubi's Steam catalog, the only things I'd really be interested in would be FarCry 1, GRAW 1, I-L2, Splinter Cell: Double Agent, and Rainbow Six 3. Hopefully at least one of those shows up this week. Then again, if they have anything for less than $5, I'll have a hard time turning it down. Random off-topic observation: Why are only two of the four Splinter Cell games on Steam? I'd pick up Pandora Tomorrow for some multiplayer.

Also, I wonder if any other publishers are planning sale weeks on Steam? Some Sega and EA deals would be nice.

The Director's Cut edition is simply the PC version. As I recall, it includes a few extra missions, which basically serve as added incentive for PC gamers who had to wait an extra 5 months to play the game.

Damn, Steam needs to slow down on the sales already! They're burning a hole in my wallet.

Title should say PC only.

Ironically this is one of the reasons I enjoy the game. It's a game that you can get into a relaxing grove with, and come out feeling satisfied at the end of it.

Title should say PC only.

Um, the fact that it's for Steam sort of implies that. Putting "PC Only" in the title is as useful as putting "Xbox 360 only" in a title that says "Xbox Live Marketplace sale."

It says "Steam." It's the same thing. It would have been redundant to have "Steam sale for the PC."

Both of the "it should be PC only" guys above are CAGs in Training. So, I'm willing to give a mulligan to the first guy, ZAS123. However, the second guy, chuckywang, gets only half a mulligan because not only did he bring up the "PC only" thing, he obviously did not read the string (or he would have seen ZAS123's comment)- two strikes in the CAG batting cage.

Anyway on topic, I agree, there are only a few games in the Ubi library I would be interested in, but I am glad to see these sales. Hopefully, like others have stated, there will be more of these from different publishers.

While it's certainly not the best game, it certainly is worth $10.

Naw, Steam has been running sales regularly for well over a year now.

Title should say PC only.

It's 2009, and there are still people unfamiliar with Steam? Oi...

Steam's getting more creative with sales it seems. During his DICE speech, Gabe said they hired a behavioral psychologist to help them come up with different sales ideas...

I'm hoping for some Far Cry 2. I'd like to play that on the PC since I wasn't really into it on the 360.

Assassin's Creed is well worth it for $10, if you haven't played it yet. I'd buy it off steam, except I'm about 3/4ths of the way through on the 360.

Damn it...I am still trying out all the games I have bought from Steam the last sale they had and they are now going to start this?? Aww Man I am going to have to buy another HD at the rate.

Dammit, I bought this for $9.99 from Best Buy a while back and haven't even gotten around to clearing up some space on my HD to install. Now I'm tempted to re-buy it just because Steam is quite convenient....

Are there install limits on the retail version? (I'm wondering if this might be good for the future, since I may be upgrading my [building a new] PC in the summer)

i third the world in conflict deal. i have the retail copy but would love to get a steam copy. especially since soviet assault just came out. 50% off would be...$15 for the WiC bundle? pretty good, IMO.

Steam hired a behavorial therapist to tell them "after games have been out a while, put them on sale for less than other vendors"?

Well, it's working. I'm a PC CAG and I like cheap games that I heard about on podcasts half a year ago. I am hooked.
