There are, they allow mods too on the PS3 version.

There are, and I think now is probably a good time to hop on the wagon and give the game a try. I held out a while, and I'm glad I did. The cost of the game came down substantially, and the game has been dramatically improved since it's release as well.
 
has the community really rebounded after the titan pack, it was all but dead when I played it in May/June. The single player is too repetitive to really warrant a purchase and bots are only fun for a bit.

Yea amazon has a wider variety to shop for, So its better to do it all at one place and not worry about keeping track of what is where.

I've got the 360 version and I'm wanting to swap over to the PS3 version.

In order:

PS3 version released: Mod support, no splitscreen
360 version released: Splitscreen, no mod support
PS3 version patched + free map pack: Splitscreen, mod support and new map pack
360 version: Dead in the water since MS won't let them release the map pack for free.

Get the PS3 version. :(
