Mezmer Games announces pre-order campaign for Stalin vs. Martians starting today New York City– April 16th, 2009. Mezmer Games today announced that the arcade RTS game Stalin vs. Martians will be available for pre-order today from all leading digital download portals worldwide. The official release is planned for April 20th.

sweet, I was planning on picking this up anyways. I love soviet russia games.

game is up here on gamersgate.com. I'm pretty sure its coming to steam and direct2drive as well, but I couldn't find it on their site yet.

Has anyone seen the trailer to this game, it looks like something Westwood would have made...8 years ago...had they been on Acid... The graphics are terrible, the idea is lame, gah I am a game developer and this game makes my head hurt. What kind of game quotes the song "Rythm is a Dancer" in their trailer?!! If you want a game that's good and funny go play Stubbs the Zombie, or Leisure Suit Larry (sans the latest 2), or Raze's Hell, or Anything by Planet Moon Studios! Don't waste your cash on these lame ideas. This game literally makes me want to vomit in terror...:bomb:

12 missions of campaign, no multiplayer (at least from the specs), no skirmish?, and you can only be the soviets? Besides that those videos for promoting the game are hurting the appeal of the game more than helping. I tried watching some of those game play videos but you can't tell how the sound is since there is that music going the entire time and then as soon as anything starts happening related to gameplay, i get to see some chick just randomly dance. WTF! I'm for abstract but this is just....i think i have said enough lol.
 
If you don't think the promo videos are funny then this game probably isn't for you. But they're the reason I want it!
 
I'm all for supporting small, independent developers, but this game just looks like something out of a time capsule from 2002. Cute name, crappy looking game.
