You know, sometimes the disc catalogue number is 967-MWGH whereas the original print would be 967-MW? I'm trying to eliminate the yellow from my collection and was wondering if I could keep the disc, but swap the case.

It's not uncommon for slight changes to be made to the player's choice version, bug fixes mostly. The one that springs to mind at the moment is the dash jump exploit that was removed from Metroid Prime.

Not that any of that should stop you from swapping cases if you want.

Im not sure about GC GH but if its anything like the other systems the disc info could be changed but like Allnatural says, shouldnt stop you from swapping cases. Only way that might be different if it states on the back of the GH case about special changes like the PS2 versions of Silent Hill 2 which added content.

Well, you know how the PS2 games have an actual red label instead of black on the disc? I'd like to have the game be the original as well. For some of the games it doesn't look like there's a difference (Sonic Mega Collection and Super Monkey Ball 2), but that's a good thing to know about Metroid Prime. Thanks.
