Glad to see that revelations and Last commic standing got canned, to bad I can't say the same about star gate.

And I thought that 70s show was ending this year?

I think it's just that Topher and Ashton are leaving the show.

Big Fat Obnoxious Boss was a reality show that I actually enjoyed because it made all those business people look like fools.

Hopefully USA will pick up Heat and Velocity as well when they grab Raw this fall.

The only show on the 'cancelled' list that I would actually care about is Committed. It wasn't the best show (it borrowed a bit too heavily from Dharma and Greg), but it had some funny bits. I also wanted to know if the dying clown that lived in the closet would ever actually die.

Wow, I'm surprised to see a Law & Order get canned, especially after the first season. I guess three of the same crime drama is the most America can handle :p

Thankfully, all the shows I regularly watch have been renewed.

Good Deal. The only shows on the cancelled list that I watched I knew were done anyway. My shows on the bubble are coming back, Arrested, Scrubs, the Office, etc.

This doesn't really surprise me that much. The show was supposed to use Jerry Orbach (Lenny) as a recurring guest. Since he passed away, they had to get someone else to replace him and that just wasn't enough.

I think that's the reason more than anything else.

It's a shame that NBC won't even broadcast it in HDTV.. given the chance, it could easily become the next Friends.
bad thing is i used to watch it all the time but they put it against according to jim. and i would rather watch Jim instead so i never watch scrubs one time last season

the nightmare series link made me remember it. I think it was based like the Sci fi scare tactics show. think i remember seeing something about it last year

haha ive only heard of 6 of the shows that got canned, and ive only watched one them them (enterprise, and i only saw it twice)

its sad what the star trek series have become...hopefully a new show with good writers (next gen/ds9) comes back someday.

I think this will probably be the last season for That 70's show, unless something magical happens. Ashton and Topher are the basis for most of the comedy it uses, however successful it is.

Tripping the Rift (Sci Fi Channel) wooo about time
Dude, you watch waaaay too much TV. Also, The Office is probably the best show to come out in the last 3 years (besides maybe Arrested Development). If you saw the "Basketball" episode and didn't laugh then you have no soul. Give it a chance!:D

I don't know if they'll ever be able to do that... even DS9 and Next Gen took quite a long time to hit thier pace, and got shown syndication for quite a while. I'm not sure if the broadcast networks are willing to put up with a struggling show that takes a while to build up and then take off. They seem want something that's a hit right out of the gate rather than something that would take some time to develop but then become a fixture.

the only cancelled show that i will miss is The Contender. it has quickly become one of my favorite shows ever. and i would they would have gotten rid of law and order:CI instead of the new one
I'm pissed about Carnivale, but not surprised. At least The Wire was renewed.
Eh, I loved Carnivale season 1, but season 2 just lost me.
Nightmare on Elm Street: Real Nightmares (CBS)

Someone please explain this NOWWWWWWW
someone read the replies to this thread nowwwwwwwwwwwwwww

Wow....I never heard of 80% of those shows which is a good thing 'cause too much TV rots your brain.

Star Trek Enterprise had some bad writting in the first two seasons. The last season (season 4) actually had some strong writting and some really good episodes. Apparently there was a power struggle at Paramount and a writer named Manny Coto came onboard in season 4 and whipped the series into shape. One of the reasons why the show got canned is that there was some behind the scenes bad blood between Manny Coto and the producer Rick Berman as well as the heads of Paramount. The show never really had a chance to hit its stride which is a shame.

So let me get this straight. Cool shows like Eyes and Blind Justice are getting the axe without even finishing a season and they are bringing back crap like Blue Collar TV, Stacked, and The Biggest Loser? I honestly think every TV executive needs to be fired because it just keeps getting worse, cancelling the best shows and reviving the absolute worst trashiest crap they can shovel at us.

bad thing is never watched the office besides the first show. It was always on when something else i wanted to watch was on. but now i got a duel DVR box i will be able to watch more. I still Committed was one of the better shows that should of got canned. then again i like THAT 80s SHOW and that got killed.

Bring back GREG THE BUNNY WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Everybody Loves Raymond didn't really get cancelled. It was still pulling in 25+ million viewers each week.

whats suprising is that even though they had to change things with him not being around the ratings for a Friday night were not all that bad. Around 11 million, which while less than the other L&O shows, it was not all that much less. CI only drew about a million more, and the original only drew two million more.

I was about to make the same point. CBS would have run that show for another 3 years, minimum, but Ray Romano and the exec producer decided to finish on top.

Yeah, I heard that in season 3 they're going to do a sketch about the release of Duke Nukem Forever.

NYPD Blue was still doing fine as well AFAIK. The show just decided to end, it wasn't cancelled.
