XBOX 360 Battle Field Bad Company 18.99 Amazon
It's a universal price drop.
Yea I have seen this all over, still not a bad price though. Thanks OP!

I actually just ordered the PS3 version last night - I was wondering why the 360 version was still over $20 when it was $20 everywhere else. Granted, it was only like $22 yesterday, so this isn't a huge drop...

Thanks for the head's up; this convinced me to check gamestop's price (used) again and it finally dropped to $17.99 - will use this week's coupon+edge to pick it up for $12.59 + tax - thanks op!

Why would you wanna buy this game? I bought it and saw nothing worth $5. Multiplayer is horrible. Worst I've ever played. Single campaign was boring and brought nothing new in gaming. The comedy was here and there. I laughed like 5 times. The game should be $3. My opinion of corse.

Loved this game. The multiplayer takes awhile to get used to; it's much deeper/pc-style-methodical than the average console shooter (Halo, CoD4, etc.) This and Team Fortress 2 are my favorite 360 multiplayer games.

Pretty good game but I would recommend Battlefield 2 on PC instead. It's like $10 new, doesn't take much of a computer to run (I play it on my laptop with integrated graphics), and is a much better multiplayer game all around. It's old now but lots of people still play it and there was even a major new patch released for it a few weeks ago.

I'll probably pick up Battlefield 1943 on XBLA this summer and Bad Company 2 next spring though.

Been waiting for this to take a price drop, game is totaly worth the 59.99 i bought it for orignaly... dont know what peoples issue with this is.

Well newbie :D I feel differently compare to the other Battlefield games this one stood out for its story mode. The cast of characters was a great change of paste when you look at all the other FPS that have come and gone. As for multiplayer I never had any issues because it played just like every other Battlefield game that came before it just graphically better.

I think if anything you should go back and play BF 2 Modern Warfare. Alot of people still playing it.

Also where the hell did you come up with 3 dollars? I have never seen any game this generation at that cost? Seems like you need to think over a little more carefully on cost of games there buddy
Just, fyi OP, Battlefield is one word.

But I also want to ask if the Gold Edition is worth the upgrade.
Game is a lot of fun, I feel I got my $$ worth when I got it at full price. Gold Edition sucks just get the normal edition.

Got it for $10 or $20 maybe 2 months ago at Best Buy. Good for that price. Solid SP- finish it and resell it.

Never been a Battlefield fan 'cause I don't play multiplayer. But I heard this one actually has a worthwhile story campaign, and a funny one, too. I'm all for comedic games.

Your bad grammar is opinion of course. This is the best game I've bought in the last year. Don't hesitate, the servers are full, the multiplayer is fun, and all out war is the best. You cant beat land sea and air warfare.

Buy now!!!f

Controls feel real clunky (used to COD). I've loved this game since the minute it came out though. The destructible buildings really adds to the level of game play. I don't understand why more games don't implement physics like that.

it's only useful if you can't wait to grind up to max rank in multiplayer for the final weapon unlocks...

also for those who are keen on the MP, u might wanna use these codes.

Go to the UNLOCK page in the menu and input the following:
your3mynextt4rget - Unlock QBU88 Recon Kit
try4ndrunf0rcov3r - Unlock the M60 Support Kit
cov3r1ngthecorn3r - Unlock the Uzi Special Ops Kit
aw3somef1rep0wer - Unlocks USAS12 for use in multiplayer

And I will respectfully disagree. :)

IMO, it's on of the best MP's out there. Granted, if you aren't plying it with friends, it can be frustrating, but if you get even a half decent team working together, it's brilliant. Get one sniper for recon and cover, on support for team healing and mortar strike coverage, one specialist to tag vehicles and C$ crates, and on demo guy to destroy the tagged (and untagged) vehicles . . . that can be an extremely effective and deadly squad and can make for hours of fun.

And yes, there are tons of people out there still playing this . . . I've got a whole friends list full of them. :D

Gold Edition just basically unlocks 5 weapon options for multiplayer that you eventually unlock by reaching the highest rank (which, if you get as addicted to it as I did, you will pick up in less than a few weeks :D ). On top of that, there is only one of those 5 (the sniper rifle) that I actually use on any kind of regular basis, anyway.

Long story, short . . . not worth the upgrade, IMO.

You're gonna love Bad Company 2 then (out early next year) . . .

They've upped the destruction (you will now be able to level buildings, rather than just take them down to a shell) and added "micro destruction" (gunfire will slowly chip away at and eventually destroy cover).

It's all part of the upgraded Frostbite engine, which, they will also be using for Battlefield 1943, so you can get an initial taste of it in that, when it comes out this June.

IMO, from that list, the M60 is a must if you play support . . . by far the best option for that kit. The Uzi is also a good choice for the Specialist class, though you might find that the UMP or the PP2000 is more your speed in certain situations (i.e., close quarters versus outdoors).

Also, you can unlock the F2000 Assault Rifle for the Assault kit by establishing your veteran status here: http://veteran.battlefield.com/

Just requires that you have played more than one Battlefield game online (the new BF Heroes game counts, so if you set up that and play it once, you can get veteran status pretty easily). It does require setting up an EA account, but other than that, it's shouldn't be too hard.
