Haha thats awsome! I bought New Super Mario Bros for $35 bucks today and what a coincidence that you mention about it Cheapy. As soon as you mentioned it, I slowly looked at the opened case. (you mentoning about this is cool, the price is not.)

i order The Conduit online today, from the reviews 7.5 to 8.0 doesn't sound too bad. it looks like a upgrade version of Perfect Dark 64

Wow. It just popped up in my iTunes and the title made me laugh out loud. Can't wait to hear the story behind this.

Also I love that I am posting after a USB cable.

I don't recall hearing anything about Hitler during the show, but I bet Hitler would agree with Wombat about Registering. Who in their right mind would register their super powers with the government!?! Thats the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Big Brother is not your friend. Another fine show fellas.

Wombat,

When I read the Kotick quote a couple of days ago, I immediately thought of you. I distinctly remember you talking about the whole idea of taking the budget for the PS3 version and putting some of it toward more marketing for the 360 version and pocketing the rest. People thought you were crazy and claimed you just hated the PS3. Maybe you do know something about the industry. ;)

When they were talking about Best Buying having trade in kiosks, Cheapy said that he thinks most of the people that trade games to Gamestop are knowledgeable, savvy gamers. Does anyone else disagree with that? I think that most people who trade games to Gamestop have no idea they are getting ripped off so badly. I think most knowledgeable and savvy gamers either sell their stuff on amazon/eBay/etc.. or trade their games on a site like GameTZ, Goozex, or even the forums on CAG. Maybe I'm wrong with this, but I know that I avoid selling my games to Gamestop at ALL costs.

I love the title for this, I imagine Wombat and the führer sitting around a table coming to a consensus.

Bahaha, nice Thomas.

I can't believe Jimmy Mac is going to be on Hell's Kitchen. Does he even cook? Insane!

Great show, really enjoyed it. Look forward to the Conduit impressions as well as GhostBusters. I laughed when cheapy said, "I like to beat myself"... I'm so immature...

Cheapy! With great internet space pimpatude power comes great internet space pimpatude responsibility. You must think before you rattle of ideas about "Gamefly V.I.P. list" and such. Some marketing d-bag just creamed his shorts somewhere. Mark YOUR words, if there isn't a gold level VIP membership already...there soon will be.......

The iTunes feed says this show is dated 6-17-09. Can this be changed? I just kept refreshing my feed until I realized that I already had the most recent show.

Wombat - Entwistle was indeed phenomenal and it's hard to argue that he wasn't the best, but you have to give some love to John Paul Jones too. Entwistle/Moon and JPJ/Bonham are easily the two best rhythm sections ever.

Holy Crap, Hell's Kitchen is probably the only reality show i watch and this news is pretty awesome. Gives me someone to root for right from the start =). Can't wait for it to start in July now.

Small thing... but did Wombat refer to Jenova Chen as "she" or was he talking about someone else? Because Jenova Chen's a dude...

You are right I called him a her, I thought he was the President of the company who is a woman and Jenova sounds like a girls name to me.

Who is picking the music for these shows? It's consistently good. Girl Talk, Hollertronix/Diplo doing UNKLE vs. Dead Pres.....just know someone out there knows what you're doing and understands. By the way Vice Magazine and VBS TV is one of my favorite outlets for snark and humor. Pitchfork.TV is also becoming a very strong force.

just curious

was it Wombats wife who thought he needed to talk more on the show?

for some reason i dont think she is a Cheapy D fan.

i may be wrong

thanks for the show.

Fix your title...

"Hitler was right" in any context (joke or not) is really inappropriate. I find that VERY offensive. Obviously, when you guys decided to use a reference like that, you weren't thinking of the millions of Jews killed in concentration camps. Or maybe you guys are aware of that, but don't think of the details - like being given a bar of soap and shampoo before you stepped into a shower that was actually going to gas you to death. Or maybe you don't know about the Nazi groups that went town to town, gathered up the Jews, made them dig their own graves, and then shot them one by one.

I really hate to be so dour and serious about this... but I don't think you should use Hitler as a funny reference in a joke. It's just not right, Cheapy & Wombat!

PS: Very cute pic of you and kid, Cheapy! :)

Surprising answer on the civil war side but Wombat who is the better man in your opinion Captain America or Iron Man. There is only one right answer here

They're both Jews.

VIDEO GAME THEFT
I used to be an outside vendor for a lot of department stores and I notice a lot of the video game theft was being committed by store employees.
I remember when one employee was escorted by police in handcuffs when he admitted to stealing $10,000 worth of video games.
Also, every Christmas season, the stores seem to always hire a bunch of thieves, who let their friend and even complete strangers walk out with a bunch of games.

TWITTER
As far as using twitter on the XBOX 360, I see nothing wrong with a 'tweet this' button that lets you instantly alert all your followers that your on XBOX Live playing a certain game. (Clearly, this would be to alert people who are not currently logged on to XBOX Live.)

Also, I see nothing wrong with the system allowing you to automatically tweet your followers when you receive and achievement or beaten a game.
Plus, maybe the twitter function can let you tweet a cool gameplay photo or video to your twitter page (via twitpics).

THE CONDUIT
I also found this video (with commentary) of The Conduit from giantbomb.com.

Especially since the vast majority of superheroes are vigilantes. "Before doing your illegal activities would you mind registering your secret identity."

Someone didn't listen to the CAGcast...

It's supposed to be controversial. Which it is.

I'm also highly offended by the title of this cagcast. CheapyD, you have no respect naming the show that... you should be the first person to know that Wombat is never right. How dare you.

*shakes fist*

Strong show. I enjoyed hearing about Sega sending Wombat a copy of Conduit despite what he said when he first saw it. Can't wait to see what comes of this.

Can't wait to watch Hell's Kitchen.

I am listening now, but I skipped minutes 15-20 because I'm sure I'm mentioned, and I don't like to listen to parts like that (I'll listen if someone tells me otherwise).

Wombat, if you want to force Gamefly to send you a game that's about to come out, make sure you send your game back about a week and a half before a game comes out, put the game you want at the top of your Queue, and remove every other game from your list. You're pretty much guaranteed to get the game that way when it comes out. And also Wombat, make sure you play multiplayer for The Conduit, because you must be thorough in your analysis of the game.

I think this week's show was pretty good and hopefully Wombat's section continues until he quietly overthrows Cheapy as host.

@ tired internet meme guy - if you can't see how futile and silly it is for someone to lecture CheapyD and Wombat about what Hitler did in WWII like they are unaware then I genuinely feel sorry for you, or at least for those who have to take care of you.

Keep bashing away at your keyboard some more and maybe next time some words or even an actual argument will pop up on screen.

i dont get why anyone plays games on easy difficulty. yeah i know we all have diff skill levels when it comes to games but man why they hell even bother. though i dont always try the hardest difficulty i tend to play a game on the next hardest and then the hardest and its always.

yeah some games can get really hard to beat ( like god of war with the clone battle, or deadspace on the highest difficulty) but it always feels more like an accomplshment to play a game once to get the basic story and a hang of whats going on and then go in there and kick its ass on the highest difficulty.

sucks that it seems like more people tend to lean towards just doing it on normal or easy or they just play games for trophies or acheivements but i really like to play games that challenge me and force me to get better or to try harder to win.
