I wouldn't say the best card you could find, but I have first party memory cards, which seem to be good enough. I rather focus on how much space you want. The 1019 pretty much has the most space.
A lot of people say that you need a first party card or risk losing data... but I've been using a Madcatz 1019 for almost two years and haven't had any problems or complaints.
We have had 4 for over 2 years with no problems--all were bought new after the Wii came out, and had labeling for GC and Wii compatiblity. They have more room than the 1st party ones, and the quality is good.
