Why did Speedy leave?

I am a recent cag and I heard many things about Speedy. I heard best buy or circuit city (now just "the city") file a lawsuit against him, is this reason why he left or is there another?
 
During the CC lawsuit, he pretty much disappeared -- but he returned after that whole debacle ended when CC filed for bankruptcy.

Speedy lost his job (the one that gave him access to the early deals), and he left at that point.

Hopefully he's back on his feet & will come back soon.
 
Speedy left because he finally beat Circuit City, and put them out of business! :lol:

He had nothing left to prove...

Speedy wasn't really much of a gamer, but he really liked helping us all out by posting those ads. Since he lost his job (due to the economy), he felt he didn't have much to contribute here.

We miss you speedy!
