New indie 3rd person shooter. Looks like fun and it's on sale for only $5.24. Has 10 Steam Achievements and is controller enabled. Seems like it would be a fun distraction even if you only get a couple of hours of play out of it.

Foreign Legion: Buckets of Blood is a cartoon-style third-person shooter. You take the role of a last-standing hard-boiled Legionnaire on a mission to protect a village against an entire rebel army.

Think of it this way...what game WOULDN'T you pay 5 bucks for? Hell, I'd even buy Vampire Rain for $5 just to say I played it.

After watching the trailer, I would pay 99Cents for it.

Regular price is $6.99, not much of a savings for a blind-buy.

It's a fun game, kinda weird, but overall a good time for $5 for sure. It's like the NES game Operation Wolf had a baby with a Lego game.

I bit. Its fun, it plays almost like a single player Gears - Horde mode. You are set in this town and increasing waves of enemies come at you to blow up the town square. You basically have to shoot everyone before you 1) die 2) the town square gets blown up. Not too many weapons, but the shooting feels OK, and the graphics are sorta fun.

It was only $5 and it plays on my work laptop, so its something to do to kill some time at lunch. Don't think of it like full featured shooter - play it like you would play Bejeweled or Peggle, but you kill people.
