Motorola X205 Headset for Xbox 360 - $10 Shipped

I have this, works great BUT is heavy. I had to use it when my other two headset malfunction. Had to get used to it, very tight and feels like it's weighing your head down.

Had one from the Costco sale - couldn't WAIT to take it in and return it. Really poor quality - went back to the MS headset and have had no trouble since.

I've been through 4 MS headsets since owning my 360 so I jumped on it.

Although, after reading the seller reviews I don't have very high expectations. I'll let you know how it goes....
In for one, because the standard one is a piece of shit and the one from Skullcandy was literally unusable.
this one isn't an improvement...just a different piece of shite...

Yeah. The mic quality on it sucks, I got tons of complaints, and the sound cuts in and out frequently. Also, like mentioned, its heavy and if you have a bigger melon, it can become pretty uncomfortable after like 20 minutes due to it squeezing your head really tightly.

I've had mine for a year + and I love mine.... only problem i have is you can't use the chat pad with it...

Agree 100%

I got some of the x205 for the PS2 (they were USB though, so not really just PS2)... and I opened one... and realized it was a bit of a POS.

The USB ones were only .99 at Gamestop, but have since been removed from their website.

I find this headset to be headache inducing while overly isolating any incoming sound resulting in an almost mono effect .
Just a heads up .

Yup, I have this too. I can also confirm it sucks. Like others have said, sound cuts in and out and you need to wiggle the connection to the controller and put it in the perfect position to be able to hear anything. It only lasted me a couple weeks.

I later gave up on it and got an official wireless MS mic, but that wasn't all that great. Sound was too quiet and I felt like I had to yell for people to hear me.

Later gave up on that for a Turtle Beach X3 that I got for $40 from a post here about a year ago. Greatest headset I've had.
