Here are the prizes for the week of 8/17 - 8/24:

First Prize - Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure (Nintendo Wii)

2elb1hk.jpg

In this game, you are in control of a cute little pirate named Zack who's out to solve puzzles and discover the legendary treasure that was hidden away on Treasure Island by the great pirate Barbaros. Played with the Wii Remote like a classic adventure game, gamers point and click at objects they would like to use as they try to solve puzzles and get further into the game. Once you figure out what you need to use to solve a puzzle, you also need to discover how to use it, which is often by a series of natural motions and button presses with the controller. Puzzles start off simple but promise to get tougher as the game progresses. If you're having trouble, you can consult a friend for hints. The goal is to clear the stages without getting any hints. Prior to the start of a stage, the game shares with you the percentage of testers who were able to clear the stage on their own, so you can get a feel for the difficulty.

Second Prize - Wipeout Pure (Sony PSP)

The latest and the greatest in the seminal WipEout series, 'Pure' distils the essence of anti-gravity racing and futuristic adrenaline-fuelled combat. Hi-tech weapons, hi-octane speed and a high-tempo dance soundtrack combine to deliver an explosive taste of the future directly into your hands. Supporting up to eight players via a Wi-Fi link for multiplayer gameplay, gamers will be able to take on their friends and attempt to blast enemy ships to pieces in a fierce competition for top racing honors. Players who win a gold, silver or bronze trophy will earn fresh racing colors, new ships and four classic tracks from past installments in the Wipeout series. Fresh downloadable content that can be saved to a Memory Stick Duo, such as new tracks, ships, skins and music, will expand the racing experience and allow for personalization of the game.

Third Prize - Lord of the Rings: The Third Age (Playstation 2)

Experience the first console role-playing game set in J.R.R. Tolkien's fabled Middle-Earth universe with The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age. In it, players will be able to travel in the wake of the Fellowship with a unique structure that allows them to explore their own path while periodically intersecting with the major events of the films. Encounter the demonic Balrog in the mines of Moria, defend the fallen city of Osgiliath, or try to destroy Helm's Deep -- the choice is yours. Players can even customize their own hero or villain and upgrade them with an in-depth skill tree system that will increase their special abilities.

Fourth Prize - Metroid Prime 2 Echoes Bonus Disc (Nintendo Gamecube)
