Ya I bought the game awhile back and thought it was just as you said, meh and held my attention for all of a day or two. If people want a music game just get Osu! which is free to DL and has a huge fan community constantly adding new tracks.

I actually enjoy the game. It is much more enjoyable if you have friends who play as well so you can compete for scores. However, as a weekend deal this is pretty disappointing as it has been on sale at this price or lower multiple times as a standalone deal or as part of various packages. I can't imagine anyone who would want this game who hasn't already bought it during a previous sale.
