Yes, I'll just go through hours of posts that I missed. What a completely reasonable suggestion.

I'm starting to sick of this history class, i seriously think the professor doesn't like me, as silly as that sounds. The guy is constantly messing with me.

Music:

During the spring/summer, I contemplated going to a store that was promoting that vodka because Dan Aykroyd was doing an appearance/signing.

Then I remembered it was during rush hour, and it would take me 45min-1 hour to get to there and said fuck it.

Keep in mind the store is 11 miles from my house. :wall:
History is the easiest subject in the world. It's just memorization.
It's pretty obvious that you have never taken an upper level history class. That shit that JJ is taking is probably a joke, but memorization is not something that would be applicable to most history classes past the 200 level.

Ok, then what do you need in order to make it through history classes past the 200 level other than memorization?
No Temp. I'm studying all weekend.
fuck you!

This is history 1120, world civ 2. I never complained about the class, it isn't memorization at all really, which i'm glad for. Just the professor that is pissing me off. He has some returning students from his world civ 1 class last semester and it really seems like he's showing favoritism towards them. Never messes around with them, never puts them on the spot like many of us.

Well in his class it's all about connecting societies. This first half is about global interdependence, or globalization basically. So if you're not the big picture type, it would be hard to see how the world is connected.

History is a product of the society that studies it. As social change happens perceptions and new relevant facts are uncovered. If History was just memorization than it wouldn't be something that changes and grows as we learn more about the subjects that are uncovered. A clear example is that at one point people thought that Birth of a Nation was an accurate representation of what went down in the South.

His classes have pretty high drop rates. I think some people have already. He's just got kind of a superiority thing going. Likes to embarrass people for stupid little shit. If you even say something with the wrong inflection in your voice he'll stop everything til you realize it. i haven't met someone like that since grade school.
That's odd. All I did was remember what the teacher taught and what I read out of the text book and I passed with As.
Like I said, the classes you took were probably below the 200 level and most of those classes tend to be filled with multiple choice tests and short essays on texts or short stories. As you start to progress in the subject it becomes more argumentative and investigative.

I got up to 383, History of Religion in America.

I get what you mean though, especially on subjects that have shitty historical records.
That PS firmware update thread is very interesting. Maybe thats why my PS3 bricked.
You updated your PS3?
 at the rumored $50 everything plan at T-Mobile
If that includes 3G, it's in-fucking-sane.
Yea, dont they force you to update if you want to play online?
Not for 3.01, it was optional. When they force you to update, it won't let you log on to the network.

The 3.01 update also happened a while ago, those idiots are bumping the thread because some people claim it made their PS3 break.

Rather than being spoon fed facts and opinions.

Edit: Admiral, I'm so glad you're as well as you are!!

You got hit by a cop car? Was it his fault or yours?

Get a lawyer and don't tell anyone that you feel okay. Also, get an MRI.
