I still like to believe otherwise. Makes way more sense and actually gives the movie a better twist like situation. At least it leaves it ambiguous.

I tend to agree about twists. But in this case, it's a lot more (psychologically) frightening that it wasn't a twist.

Pompeii 3D - 4/5 - It was intense! Good movie!

What movie would you compare to this? Gladiator, Troy, Immortals, 300?!?! The trailer looks like it's going in a million directions.

I would say a little bit of 300, legend of hercules and game of thrones.

Can't believe that someone hated or didn't understand American Psycho. It's a brilliant movie and the central performance was amazing.

Yeah, I loved American Psycho as well. I still watch it from time to time.

Bridesmaids - 3/5 - It's really hilarious but everything becomes quite predictable from the start and not to mention that a few of the "Bridesmaids" are pretty much throwaway characters and nonexistent to the movie. Still funny, though.

Dallas Buyers Club - 5/5 - Damn fine, movie. And damn fine performances from every single actor involved. We need more movies made like this.

It's not as bad as people who for some reason think The Godfather is a terrible film.

That's why I asked how old he was because I didn't appreciate it when I first saw it. Around 24-25 I started seeing movies in a whole different way.

I swear, I'm like the only person that hated the movie. The only parts I thought were remotely funny involved the guy from The IT Crowd.

I really only enjoyed the plane scene and the wedding gown store scene. Oh, and Tim from Tim and Eric just smiling, haha. The rest was pretty run-of-the-mill Apatow-type stuff.

No check the thread of movies people love that you hate, this movie has the most posts. I actually liked "Bachelorette" way better.

Chris o'dowd pops up in everything these days it's getting annoying.
Jon Hamm was the best thing about that film.

The internship

I liked it. It had technology issues like the idea that google has a help center call line struck me as strongly just wrong. But beyond that it was standard fare.

9kuDKFwl.jpg

The Wolf of Wall Street

I mean it was a solid film and all .. but I don't get why everyone is getting on their knees for it. It never struck me as THAT great.

Oldboy

A) it lived up to the hype and B) I apparently misunderstood the spoiler I saw or read by one of those "F u spoilers" people. I didn't expect that the reveal of his crime would be as it was. Now it's off to watching the Spike Lee version.. if not today then tomorrow.

Machete Kills 4/5 - Awesome cast and exactly what you need from a grindhouse film. Non stop action. I just wish they finish off with him in space.

Jack the Giant Slayer was way better than I expected it to be. I like how they turn the old fairy tales into action movies.

Child's Play 2 - it was alright, not seen original but it was much better than the sorry excuse CP3, SoC, and Bride of Chucky.

Goonies 3.8/5

Seen this too many times, nostalgia is decaying, this time it didn't hold up so well anymore. Still good though.

Pride of the Yankees:

An excellent biopic on Lou Gehrig.Though Gary Copper did a great Job as him.

Key Largo:

Though it was really good with Edward G. Robinson stealing the show as the gangster Johnny Rocco.

I'm going to let you in on a little secret. Every day, once a day, give yourself a present. Don't plan it. Don't wait for it. Just let it happen. It could be a new shirt at the men's store, a catnap in your office chair, or two cups of good, hot black coffee.
