Eventually looking to add all gamecube exclusives to my collection, but I'm going to need a list. I found a list of all first party exclusive games, but I was wondering if anyone could point me in the direction of a list of all (first/third), or only third party exclusive games. A quick google search showed a link from 2004, but that doesn't appear to be too helpful. Let me know, thanks!

Let me play this game. I will go until I'm bored.

Tales of Symphonia (PS2 version only came out in JP)
Bomberman Generations
Bomberman Jetters
Sonic Gems Collection
Baten Kaitos (both games)
All WWE games
P.N. 06
Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg
Phantasy Star Online Episode III
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles
Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2
Resident Evil 0
Resident Evil
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Harvest Moon: A Wonderful Life
Star Wars Rogue Squadron 2 & 3

Okay. I am bored!
RE MIGHT be considered an exclusive, but I personally wouldn't count it as such. RE0 is exclusive, though.
Except that it's out for the Wii in December, though it is described as a "direct port of the original GameCube version with added Wii Remote/Nunchuk, Classic Controller, or the GameCube controller support". I don't know if that means you can aim with the remote or if it retains the identical aiming mechanic of the original.

NBA Street v3 (with exsclusive playable characters Mario, Luigi, Peach)
SSX on Tour (with exclusive playable characters Mario, Luigi, Peach)

(I have these both sealed and available on my trade list. Send me a PM if intersted.)

I'll add to it this, too ... until I'm bored ...

It's PN03, not PN06
Darkened Skye (fun for a laugh)
Lost Kingdoms 1 and 2
Baten Kaitos Origins
Baten Kaitos - Eternal Wings and the Lost Ocean
Beach Spikers (Such an overlooked gem!)
Ikaruga
Star Fox Assault (Technically, Nintendo's, but Namco made it)
Summoner: Goddess Reborn (Actually a port of Summoner II but for what it's worth, it has one of the most beautiful box arts of all time and I do believe it has the exclusive note on the cover)
F-Zero GX (Again, Nintendo's, but Sega made it)

And while these are not exclusive, they did have Nintendo exclusive features:
Fight Night Round 2 (Has Super Punch Out!! and Little Mac as an unlockable)
SSX On Tour (Team Mario)
NBA Street Vol. 3 (Team Mario, too)
Soul Calibur 2 (Link!)

Alright ... now I'm bored

Got a 2.6 out of 10 on IGN.
I bought that, and wow did it stink.

How dare you forget Eternal Darkness....

Oh, and Ikaruga is not an exclusive. It was actually on the arcade, Dreamcast, and now on the XBLA, even though it says Only For on the cover.

LOL - Yeah, Eternal Darkness -- I liked that game; didn't quite love it like others, but have to say when it comes to telling a creepy story, few I've seen have done it better (and the voice acting is amazing). I'm glad I picked it up from BB a long time ago for $15.

As for Ikaruga -- well, you're not entirely right about that. The DC version was never released in the US so unless you imported (and paid an arm and a leg) the game from Japan, Ikaruga never actually came out in the States before then.

And yes, it is on XBLA now. Personally, I'm not into downloading games. I like to truly own it on a disc. I feel we're all giving up some property rights by buying into this whole download-games market. That said, one great positive out of this is the birth of low budget, produced in basement games -- those are always awesome.

Actually, you are! I just learned this in my Commercial Transaction class. Software that is downloaded is not considered property because it is not tangible or moveable. This is why SCEA is making such a big push to download only content.

Yeah, I presumed as much. Too bad property never taught me that but this makes common sense. Still, while the law may not recognize this now, it's quite possible that we're headed for some seminal Supreme Court case on the matter.

I'd say within the next decade, we'll get that case. It'll probably be some guy who sues Sony or Amazon for tinkering or taking away a digital purchase made for his hub or Kindle (ala what happened not too long ago). It'll be interesting to see how the Court defines property in such an instance, given much of property law is rooted in physical possession.

I do not see how that make me "not entirely right." Your argument is very irrelevant. If it came out other consoles, regardless where it is released, it is not an exclusive to Gamecube.

Irrelevant? Dude, take a chill pill.

You can live in your little world and believe that. But Nintendo and those who publish games here would flat-out disagree with you. Next time check out Ikaruga for the Gamecube. You'll notice the nice "Only for" in the upper left-hand corner (I should know, since I have it). Based on your answer, Nintendo would be wrong to do that. Most reasonable gamers know exclusivity is regionally defined. Your definition is NOT the way the industry uses the term, period.

Is it still "exclusive"? No, because it's now on XBL. But in terms of when it released on Gamecube, it WAS exclusive.

Man, I hate these CAG newbies.

Ordinarily, I would challenge your argument, but if you must be an asshole to your fellow users including newbs such as myself, then your not worth my time. With that said, you should learn how communicate properly, especially when you disagree with your fellow user. If you must debate with me, you do it maturely, otherwise I will not pay much attention to you.

Well, it was intended as a Gamecube exclusive, but it was probably too late to remove the "Only For" tag because the cover was already mass produced before Capcom planned the game for PS2.

Once again, take a chill pill, dude.

Face it, you're wrong on this one. I don't disagree with you that Ikaruga is no longer an exclusive but fact is your interpretation of "exclusive" is simply not the way the industry uses it. Now if you want to use it that broadly, by all means do so, but that's not how the gaming business uses it.

Ikaruga was exclusive to the Gamecube when it released, period.

I admit the exclusivity definition is now used very narrowly though -- take for example, RE4 -- it could be considered an exclusive because the Gamecube version is invariably different from its PS2 iteration. Also, the Gamecube version released in Jan. (I think) and the PS2 one came out in the Fall (Oct.?).

Another example is Skies of Arcadia Legends, which is considered and demarcated as an exclusive for the GCN but as we all know, it was released on Dreamcast years before --- and that one did come out in the States.

I was only messing around, these guys are getting all worked up over the definition of exclusivity. When I'm trying to show that, hey, you both could right in this situation.
Sonic Gems Collection
It's on the PS2 in Europe and Japan.
Super Monkey Ball 1 and 2
Super Monkey Ball Deluxe basically has SMB and SMB2 on one disc for the PS2 and Xbox.
Skies of Arcadia Legends
Wat? How could you forget the Dreamcast had this first? :(
