The Infinity Project is currently on sale for .99 (http://itunes.apple....d344783567?mt=8). The link may still have $1.29 on it, but the price is only .99 on iTunes. I'm kind of tempted even though I have way too many unplayed titles to justify spending another dollar. Still. . .
Anyone have any experience with this one?

"This is not your typical FPS, this is an Adventure / Action FPS, a different kind of FPS for the iPhone. This is not the same old follow the arrow and shoot bad guys like a lemming FPS. This exploration / adventure game with a FPS look & feel has tons of content with hours & hours of play time. Immerse yourself in The Infinity Project.

The year is 2248, Earth is at war with the Talon’s, a technologically advanced race bent on stripping Earth for its resources. As Commander Ethan Avery, you’re sent to Infinity Station, a research and development facility located in deep space currently developing controversial technologies and military weapons. Earth has lost contact with the Top Secret station and sends you to investigate. Captain Onora Zorion will help guide you via a Secure Communications Link. Infinity Station is large and easy to get lost in, use the signs posted next to some doors to help guide you. Explore the station to find keys that unlock the next area of the station. Unlock the mystery behind The Infinity Project.

Once you are on-board, strange things start to happen, and you realize, this is no normal space station and this is no normal rescue mission. You are about to start an adventure you will never forget.

With stunning 3D graphics and sound, The Infinity Project features a wide-open world to explore. Enter every room you can, you never know what you may find.

You have multiple weapons, to include grenades, a rocket launcher, and laser rifles. You start out with two weapons; gain more by beating bosses. As you progress through the game, you will encounter different kinds of enemies and tasks you must complete."

I totally bought Tony Hawk 2 at 5 bucks, and Daredevil Dave.

This is just awesome. Also got both versions of Zombie Defense for free. Yeah, the HD one is free too.

Mike V: Do or Die Skateboarding is on sale for $1 right now.

The reviews are very inconsistent so I can't tell if it's good or not, but hey, it's a buck.

I picked up Skater Nation for a buck a while ago and still haven't played it haha

No new titles for your Saturday freebie sites update. I've already inadvertently posted the "new" featured titles. However, in case you're just now joining us or have otherwise missed the previous posts, here's a recap:

OpenFeint has the ridiculously addictive MegaJump (http://itunes.apple....d370398167?mt=8). If you don't already have this, download it NOW while it's still free.

Both Great App a Day and Free App Calendar are featuring the 3D shooter MetalWars (http://www.freeappca...ails.php?id=192).

Well, since you know I can't just post a rehash of old news, here's your bonus freebie:
Adubble (http://itunes.apple....d319294040?mt=8)
"Hello match-3 puzzle players! We have a toy for you! You will need to match sets of three or more like-colored bubbles to remove them from the board and have points added to your score. Numerous levels, special elements and increasing difficulty will ensure hours of fun. Use bonuses to multiply your score. Experience new and unique game play using special elements.

The game features:
- your own music in background

Add to your shmup collection with the just-released Warblade Free (http://itunes.apple....d372970539?mt=8). Although the title hints at this being a lite version, it doesn't appear that way from the description:
"Warblade is a arcade game with focus on very good playability. It's a shoot'em up type of game like the old classic arcade game Galaga. Warblade is a iPhone/iPod touch remake of my old Amiga game Deluxe Galaga. A very popular game for the Amiga computer and also as Warblade on the PC and Mac. Voted most addictive game by Bytten.com

The Plot : An alien race is invading the earth and you must travel into space and fight the strange aliens to save humanity. That's the very simple plot of the game. The game is made with gameplay as the most important factor. Fast arcade fun and lots of adrenaline pumping action.

Some of the games features:

• 25 action packed levels
• Time trial mode with many extra levels!
• Advanced profile system
◦ Each user of the game - his or her own profile
◦ Record progress through the game
◦ Open up locks to turn on new features in the game.
◦ Fastest times
◦ Highest scores
◦ Highest ranks
◦ How many secrets found
◦ and much more...
• Auto save and load game
• Lots of ranks to play for
• Lots of secrets and features
• Life time support!
• and more..."

Hysteria Project has dropped back down to FREE for all those who may have been curious about it (http://appshopper.co...ysteria-project). Personally, I'd skip it and save the hard drive space but it's up to you.

"In "HYSTERIA PROJECT", YOU are the hero!

Step into the shoes of the main character and take part in an unforgettable adventure! Will you take the right decisions and make it out in one piece?

Hysteria Project is a groundbreaking gaming experience, where you are the hero of an entirely filmed adventure. Go along with the video clips, keep a sharp eye on what's going on around you and most importantly of all - make the right choices at the right time.

Recommended for fans of new experiences and thrill-seekers.

Have you got the guts to be next on the list?"

I picked up Pandamania for $0.99 a while back. Great game and I don't feel like I got burned at all. I remember someone telling you to wait for a sale on Hysteria Project... but I guess you didn't listen.

Quick Question to all that already purchased Pandamania: The Pandamania I bought shows in at 107 MB in Itunes. The current version weighs in at 20 MB. Anyone else notice this? Wonder what they did that would cut the size down that much?

Um, yeah. . .that was me. I tried to warn him. Oh well. I also picked up the original plus-sized PandaMania for .99 and felt like I got more than my money's worth. I may actually re-install it so I can play through it again because I enjoyed it so much the first time around.

Ahahaha . . . putting him on ignore doesn't help when you keep clicking "View Post" to see what everyone is responding to anyway. ;)

I've lost like over 15 bucks so far, I'm beyond pissed.

Kid, if that's seriously the worst problem in your world . . . well, good for you, I guess. But really, if you're "beyond pissed" over that, you should probably take some anger management classes. And maybe stop buying apps when they're not on sale, because most apps go on sale at some point or another.

You've (presumably) paid what you though the app was worth. Deal with it.

Im cheap so unlike alot of my friends, I dont buy the games AS they come out. I wait til i find a deal which usually happens and I spend ALOT less than what they paid a month or two ago. Try being more cheap it pays off and you dont get "beyond pissed" about it.

On a less sidetracked note, Im surprisingly enjoying Devil Invasion, thanks to all of you who recommended it. Im not a huge tower defense fan (and there is a shitton on the iphone) however this game is a great mix of tower defense with matching puzzle. great fun! PLUS IT WAS FREE

I waited months for a drop on Hook Champ, Canabalt, PvZ, and Dark Void Zero. It never happened, so I went ahead and bit awhile ago. Good shit. Well, except DVZ. That one sucks.
