FYE 25% bonus trade in EDIT: actually nothing new, sorry

I just returned from FYE, where I traded in Gears of War (Platinum Hits), Rock Band 1 (game only), Mass Effect (Platinum Hits), and Forza 2 (Platinum Hits). The trade-in values were 25% above the values listed on secondspin.com. When I looked at the receipt, it indeed said "Bonus Percent 25%". This makes it even better than the 20% bonus credit "Brown Bag" promotion FYE ran during the summer, but I have not seen any mention of this current deal lately.

P.S. I don't know when this deal started or when it will it end. And the credit I received per game is as follows:

Rock Band 1 (game only) 1.25
Gears of War (Platinum) 8.75
Mass Effect (Platinum) 5.00
Forza 2 (Platinum) 5.00

Just called and asked for a TIV for Killzone 2, my local store won't take any games until Sunday unless you're putting it toward a system purchase. Weird. Guess it's off to ebgames tonight.

That's normal. The values on secondspin/wherehouse.com are normally FYE in-store cash values. Credit automatically gets you 25% on top of the cash value. The brown bag puts another 20% on top of either the cash or the credit value.

So for us who frequent FYE regularly, this is nothing new.
