Dragon Age: Origins is the spiritual successor to BioWare's critically acclaimed Baldur's Gate, featuring deep character customization and role-playing, morally challenging decisions, tactical party-based combat, and a wealth of gritty, mature sub-plots. It is a dark, heroic fantasy game that combines original storytelling techniques with classic role-playing challenges.
In Dragon Age, your choices change the world and affect the people around you. Certain situations, storylines, and conversation options will change drastically depending on your origin and your motivations. You choose your origin, and from that starting point, your story begins. You play through your character's early days, defining his or her background and motivation and begin to learn more about the world of Ferelden from your own distinct perspective. Your choice of origin defines how you will view the world and how it views you. Choose a sneaky, disrespected commoner and you will play a story that focuses around subtle skills and careful wordplay. Choose a noble origin and the world will be much more positive and helpful, but those jealous of your status will not be afraid to take what you have, violently if necessary.
Second Prize - Beowulf: The Game (XBox 360)
You are Beowulf, legendary Norse warrior with the strength of 30 men. Arrogant, self-serving, and lustful for gold and glory, you journey to Denmark to destroy a bloodthirsty beast wreaking havoc on a frigid land. But evil persists, and you succumb to its lure of even greater fame, quietly maneuvering to claim the Danish throne. As King, you must face the consequences of ambition, even as war descends on the realm. Third Prize - Big Mutha Truckers (XBox)
Ma Jackson, owner of Big Mutha Truckers, Inc., has announced to her four kids that she is calling it quits. Choosing the new owner of the company will not be easy though -- Ma's four kids are a difficult bunch. So Ma comes up with solution: "Trial by Truckin'". Whoever makes the most money trucking through Hick State County in 60 days will take control of the company. Players can choose to play Bobbie-Sue, Cletus, Earl, and Rawkus and get behind the wheel of a fully customizable big rig in five distinct cities. The objective is to take on missions and haul various types of cargo that include anything from cell phones to oil.
Fourth Prize - Monsters, Inc. (Gameboy Advance)
Monstropolis is having a huge energy crisis and it's up to Mike and Sulley to find a cure. Help them solve the mystery by talking to friends, getting clues, collecting items, learning new tricks and using their scare and joke tactics to take care of Monstropolis' ever-present energy-crisis. Features more than 10 levels of gameplay based on movie stills.
