I just sold my 26 Asus LCD monitor too, so I'm in the boat for a 720p LCD TV too. I heard the Pannys were the best 32 LCDs out there because of their IPS Panels, they're also rated the best for gaming because of the fast response times rated on the panels.

Just check techbargains.com every so often. Just picked up a Panasonic 32in 1080P for $405(now @ $451) shipped couple days ago. =]
