They were never $70 in the first place, all 3 retail for 59.99, so you're saving 5 bucks.
 
Well Heavy Rain and God of War 3 sell for 59.99 at most places, so you're saving 5 bucks. But I think FF13 sells for 69.99 at most places, so $15 off is a good deal.
 
...unless $59.99 is going to be the price of FFXIII everywhere now.

I plan to buy Heavy Rain from Microplay since I have a $10 off coupon. I haven't pre-ordered the other two but I may go to BBC or FS for them unless I need to trade in a game.
 
Hmm... I'm wasn't initially interested in FFXIII, especially at $70, but now I might just have to start thinking about it now that it's starting at $60.
 
One thing I don't like is waiting for games that I have been waiting for. Most games its not an issue to wait a couple days but FFXIII is one that I would really like to have day 1.
But still, saving $15 is a decent deal when everywhere else sells it for $70.
 
totally not paying 60$ for FF13. If it's anything like the Japanese version, it'll be hitting bargain bins before you know it. Buyers beware!
 
Assuming EB will sell Heavy Rain for 60 bucks, the pre-order bonus DLC pretty much makes it a break even thing.

Of course, I imagine them selling the game for 65 like they did with Bayonetta.
 
So... I got my copy of Final Fantasy XIII for PS3 today.
I ordered online from Bestbuy and got the shiny holographic cover, inside cover art, and the redemption code. There's no French anywhere. Did I get the American version?

I heard the Canadian version didn't have holographic cover or inside cover art.
 
i didn't get that, but then again i got my copy on the release date. that's pretty sweet though.

i got all 3 of these and got them on the release date (a day earlier for god of war 3 though :D).
 
Just gonna bump this and let everyone know that Bestbuy is offering Super Street Fighter 4 for $44.99 with $5 off for in-store pickup and free delivery. $39.99 is probably the cheapest place you could find it at seeing as US Amazon has it for $36.99.

I bought 3 copies already, not one was holographic... Looking around on eBay every one I see pictured in the US has that holographic stuff going on... Looks like I'm returning all the ones I've gotten, I'm not going to keep versions that are noticeably inferior. Luckily I only opened the Gaming Guarantee one, and it's already gone back :bouncy:

does eb price match a lower advertised price?

i traded in my mw2 for $40 at eb and used it on ffx13 which was 64.99.

i haven't opened the game yet and still have the receipt.

If I return the game, they will only give me instore credit right?

Or can I ask them to price match the 59.99 and I get $5 back.

You will only get back in store credit if you return it, and EB doesn't price match AFAIK.
 
fuck, and I just bought FFXIII yesterday at Wal-mart. Looked on here last night, saw nothing, and then opened it - still haven't played it though hahaha
