WoW, congrats on the system I loved my Saturn and Here's a good luck bump on Panzer Saga, I had it a while ago and I had bought it at that time for $135, Saga didn't age well at all i.m.o., but Saturn did use S-video if that help's you out. keep a look out for three dirty dwarves, albert odyssey, magic knight rayearth, burning rangers, Legend of Oasis(personal favorite), megaman x4(superior to PSX), & Shining Wisdom also. Sorry I didn't sort that all out. I just got caught in retro bliss.

Thanks for the encouragement! Yea, I watched a few videos and it does look a tad dated, but I'm a sucker for old tech so I think I'll still be able to enjoy it, and I've heard just way too many great things about it to not play it.

I'll have to look into those games, also some other ones I've heard good things about. I played Megaman X4 a ton on PSX, what is so different on the SS version?
 
Sega Saturn redefined 2D imo, call me crazy but loading times were faster and the game ran smoother, granted 3d was better on the PSX. In turn 2D was Saturn's Forte, hence why it handled fighter's majestically for it's time at least that's the general consensus i.e SF vs. Series. I could be completely wrong but I loved 2d on Saturn, 3D game's were a whole other story. another interesting title was Herc's Adventures which had considerably longer loading time's on the PSX.
