Hot price, since it's $65 everywhere. Same price as the non-MP bundle too.

But... tried to buy it and got the following:

The Heeyyy, if you're going to cross-post to RFD, at least acknowledge your source (the OP of this thread).

The order doesn't work if you use a gift card but CC works fine.

If you only use gift cards to pay for the order, the order won't submit. You can combine gift cards and a credit card to successfully pay for the order.
 
Thanks OP! Great price on a questionable but fun-looking title. For 40 WITH MotionPlus, absolutely sold.

Must be a mistake though. The non-motionplus version is listed at the same price. You guys think they'll back out and not honour it?
 
when does one usually find out that it's an error (ie. that you won't be getting the game)?

i have a preorder at bbv that i may have to cancel but i'm not sure if this thing will actually go through or not...
 
The game is now sold-out online. If it stays at the same price tomorrow it may be possible to do in-store pickup of the game through the website. Still not sure if Best Buy will honor the online orders made.

no one knows? hmm, in that case i think i'm just going to switch my pre-order to something else before 2mor.
 
According to one person on RFD, he contacted BB and was told it was a price error, and all late orders were cancelled. Seems like the regular version for $40 is still a go.
 
I was able to do an in-store pickup just now for Red Steel 2; hopefully it gets filled and I can use a $5 Nintendo coupon on it!

Any idea what they consider to be a late order?

Mine hasn't shipped yet. I've never pre-ordered off a website before, but I'd say it's odd that it doesn't ship on release day.

Pretty low TIV for this game on launch day...
 
its supposed to be part of best buy door crasher days its supposed to be $39.99 for the 23 only and it only shows the standalone version
 
It's $40 today (non-MP), and $50 with the MP. Still a good deal.

The TIV will be lower because it's not a $70 game. At EB it's a Power Trade so it'll be lower as well.

I'm surprised RFD didn't catch on to this... someone just posted how it is stickered at $49.99 in-store, but rings up as $64.99 at the register... if he used SCOP, he could have got it for this price!

mine said they will send another email once it is shipped, but nothing yet.
 
i had to do quite a bit of running around to get it in-store @ the price i was quoted online, but i eventually did end up getting it at the $39.99+tax price. i guess i'm a little lucky that they didn't really inquire too deeply into the online invoice i printed.
 
anyone else that ordered it starting to get worried about not receiving a shipping email?
if the game came out on tuesday and I pre-ordered it, shouldn't they have sent out shipping confirmation emails by now (friday)?

will they let us know if our order has been canceled? I got an email saying the order has been filled but no shipping email
 
Yes they would let you know if they canceled it.

Did you check the status on your order page at their website? Mine said "In Progress" for a while but eventually it said "shipped" under the name of the game.

Look at whether or not they charged anything to your card. It should be on that same page.

Also look for a "Cancel Order" button. If you see one, then it hasn't quite gone through yet. If you can't cancel it anymore, then more than likely it will be shipped.
 
I just checked my order details and its still saying "in progress" , they haven't charged anything to my card yet either, thats good you guys are getting shipping notices, hopefully I get my notice soon!

Im thinking they were just late sending me the shipping notice, I was not expecting it until next week so it was a nice surprise!
 
Mine took one day to ship after getting the notice, too, so I don't think the notice was late.

Probably has something to do with pre-ordering; the shipping is faster (though the actual shipping of it was delayed for you for some reason)
