PSP 3000 Core System $129.00 at DELL.COM

I still have to pay tax (in NY), but even at $140, it's the cheapest I've ever seen it. Are there any codes out there to make this deal any sweeter?
That's a damn good deal... So tempted, but I'm waiting for a killer price on the DSi first.
They had the white DSi priced at $129 a couple days ago.. that IMO was a killer price. It's back up to $139 now.. btw I thought this deal ended on the 23rd, I guess they extended it?

The PSP is awesome and I dont even really use it for games much. When I travel I always catch people oogleing my PSP while I watch movies and they are using their iPhone or Ipod touch. Its a nice little overall entertainment machine.

Yeah, that's the part that sux. Not many good games. Rock Band is cool, but the interface is a bit odd. Crisis Core is cool. GOW is AWESOME. Picked up Dead Head Fred and Death Jr.. Now waiting for the granddaddy of all PSP games: Kingdom Hearts!!!

Yeah, I'm hoping Peace Walker is good, since that'll entice me to pick up a PSP. Otherwise, I'm sticking with getting a DSi.

Think I'm ordering one thanks to Sony not allowing me to play games I own on a modded PSP :(

Currently have Persona PSP and Disgaea :S

Yep, I agree. Some foreign guy sitting next to me on a plane was amazed by my white Go. He didn't understand how I got such clear video to come out of it, or even how I got my shows and movies on it in the first place.

My PSP is 90% a media player, and 10% a game machine.

My 1001 PSP is in rough shape and has CFW and i'd really like a "legit" PSP so I can utilize the PSN store without hassle. Might jump on this.

I think PSP has a great library. I have more games for it then my DS and there are still more out there I want.

Rookie question warning.
I know you can play digital copies of movies on one of these. If you buy a DVD or BD that includes a digital copy and you associate that copy with your PSP, can you still use the digital copy on other things e.g. on a laptop? In other words, what limits come with digital copies of movies? Also, is it possible to rip regular DVDs for play on a PSP?

Probably wrong forum to ask those questions. But yes, you can rip regular DVDs to play on a PSP. I recommend handbrake, which comes with a preset profile for psp movie conversion. You may need a dvd decryptor as well (since dvd's come with copy protection). Anyways, do a google search for more info on getting movies on your psp.
