Was Bioware lisenting!? (ME3 + Wombat)

Did you hear about them talking about it on the CAGcast? I laighed when they mentioned it. Someone mentioned somewhere that Project Wombat is probably just the new version of the HUD.
 
You know, I remember listening to this live and enjoying the interview--I can't remember what criticism Wombat had that was a "call to action" for Christina, though. Does anyone else remember or care to wade through the audio for that episode?
 
What the hell could a Volus bring to the party anyway? Maybe maxing out his stats would make him make poo jokes like Cag's Wombat.
