Idea for CAG: Game Collections.

I've been thinking about this for a while and I was wondering why doesn't CAG have one of these features. I mean we have to rely on other sites like IGN and TGS but wouldn't it be cool if we had one here. It would make perusing collections to see what we're missing easier. It would also make trading on here probably easier. I don't know how hard this would be to implement Cheapy or defender I was just mearly giving a suggestion so I hope you don't feel like we are putting more of a burden on you..

I imagine this would be nightmarish to implement. Think of the massive database you'd need for this to work. I say it's best left to those sites that have already done it and done it well.

However, maybe a button could be added to the info bar that gives a link to game and movie collections (where the Profile, PM, AIM, etc buttons are now).

Yeah, this would be very difficult to do, and probably wouldn't be worth the effort.

Something else I was thinking of was a search function for trading. Like a want/have search, similar to TGN. Instead of a database, we could rely on people's ability to spell. This also requires a lot of effort though, so I'm not expecting it.

That would be a good idea, maybe along with a tradelist button, too. That would allow those that have sigs off be able to get to other tradelists without having to turn it on.

Bump for more suggestions. I guess you guys are right; it probalby would be too difficult to implement but I like the other ideas coming out like the tradelist button.

Punq made a good topic a while back about buttons. Cheapy said the resolution could get messed up while adding so many buttons though.

Cheapy could get around that by adding a second line of buttons.

id love cag to have a ign-ish collection feature, but it would prolly be alot of work...which sucks because igns site is so laggy
