Basically I had my Nomad up for sale on Ebay with the battery pack, the guy bid 91.00 on it and is now refusing to pay... what options do I have ?

thanks for the help... so basically that guy screwed me out of 90 bucks... the bidding was up to 89 dollars before he placed his final bid... and all Ebay is going to do is refund my listing fee.... that sucks.

eBay does NOT refund listing fees. They'll refund your final valuation fee but they keep your listing fee, unless your auction is the first relist of an auction that did not end with a buyer.

You can send a 2nd Chance Offer to the 2nd highest bidder and sell it for the next highest bid amount (probably $90.00) if he agrees to buy it, but file a Non-Paying Bidder Alert against the flake anyway and file for a refund on the applicable portion of the Final Valuation Fee eBay's charging you 10 days afterwards.

I guess better this than you as the buyer paying 90 bucks and never receiving the item. Hope everything works out!

The second chance it great. Just be warned that you will probably get a negative feedback from the non paying bidder even though you are not at fault. I hate that, and Ebay shouldn't allow things like that to happen in this case.

What can you expect? Ebay is a horribly negligent service.

Very true. I still use Ebay but I'm not nearly as excited about it as I was when I was younger and it was less overcrowded. Ebay is really just a mess lately and getting worse all the time. If this continues I probably won't even bother looking at Ebay after the end of this year.

EDIT: One additional thing, not to jack your topic or anything. But I actually have seen so many dumb feedbacks lately it pisses me off. Checking peoples feed backs I've seen positives like this...
"Slow shipping time and bad packaging, thanks." or
"Game never arrived and could not reach seller, beware of scammer."

and on the flip side I've seen negative feedbacks that read...
"Great product, arrived within two business days."
and similar statements. Are people really that dummm? (yes intentional misspelling, duh.)
I believe you can get negative responses deleted when they are not warranted. You have to provide proof I thought ???
They won't remove negative feedback for an unfair negative. Unless you both withdraw feedback the only way to get feedback removed is if one of the following happens:

Feedback abuse and removal
Feedback that meets any of the circumstances below is feedback abuse and may be subject to removal. Feedback that doesn't meet any of the reasons outlined below will not be removed:

* eBay is provided with a valid court order finding that the disputed feedback is slanderous, libelous, defamatory or otherwise illegal.
* The feedback comment contains profane, vulgar, obscene, or racist language or adult material. Inflammatory language, such as "fraud, liar, cheater, scam artist, con man" etc. is strongly discouraged but will not be removed.
* The feedback comment contains personal identifying information about another member, including real name, address, phone number, or e-mail address.
* The feedback makes reference to an eBay, PayPal or law enforcement organization investigation.
* The feedback comment contains links or scripts.
* Negative feedback intended for another member will be considered for removal only in situations where the member responsible for the mistaken posting informs eBay of the error and has already placed the same feedback for the correct member.
* Feedback left by a person ineligible to participate in eBay transactions, according to Section 1 of the eBay User Agreement, at the time of the transaction or the time the feedback was left.
* Feedback left by a member who provided eBay with false contact information and could not be contacted. In general, the transaction period is considered to be 90 days from the end of the listing or 30 days from the date the feedback was left, whichever was longer.
* Feedback left by a member who bid on or purchased an item solely to have the opportunity to leave negative feedback for the seller, with no intention of completing the transaction.
