I handled some of the work covering Primordia for Jay Is Games. It's a fantastic point and click adventure and anyone who even remotely enjoys the genre would do well to take a look when it's released.

- For those prefering boxed copies, Wadjet Eye plans on including GOG keys for Primordia with the retail copy. (And Steam keys, if they get Greenlit)

Primordia got the Green Light in record time last week.

...anyone who even remotely enjoys the genre would do well to take a look when it's released.

Agreed. Pre-orders of the physical copy end this week, so get clicking!

I can't believe I didn't buy it...I LOVE the graphics in that game and the idea, but I don't know, I didn't find the demo very fun.

I hope Trenched hits GOG! I really want to play that one!

Leisure Suit Larry's Greatest Hits & Misses! $9.99 [includes Larry 1-3/5-6 (no 4, of course), the VGA remake of 1, and Softporn Adventure - does NOT include 6 SVGA or Floppy versions, and other Greatest Hits & Misses! bonuses (Laffer Utilities, Larry's Big Score: Pinball, etc.)]

Explore sleazy dives, luxurious resorts, and the rolling hills of a land called Rejection while lamenting that "if I only had a dollar every time I heard that" in this series of classic point-and-click adventures from Sierra and the delightfully deviant mind of Al Lowe (Freddy Pharkas: Frontier Pharmacist, Torin's Passage).

Just curious, but is there a reason that LSL 7 - Love for Sail was not included in this...um... package?

Nonetheless, it's a pretty awesome compilation. If only they would bundle the six Space Quest games or the first six King's Quest games together instead of separating them

Are the LSL games any good? Or is it just nostalgia that gets people to talk about them so much?

It's a little of both. Anyone who did not grow up with these games might think the games are dumb as 1 - 3 are the old-school....type-text? adventure games (you have to type "open door" if you want to open the door) whereas parts 5 - 7 and the remake of part 1 were point and click adventures.

Basically before Steve Carrell, Larry Laffer was the original 40-year-old virgin and your goal is to get him laid. Unfortunately, wacky hijinks ensue during every encounter preventing him from "closing the deal." Each game is chock full of innuendo and hilariously bad puns (e. g. in part...6? there is a mother/daughter duo named Nailme and Whydoncha Juggs)

I'm still debating getting this, but still wondering why part 7 was not included - it's the only one I have never played

Ditto on considering LSL, I remember watching/playing a little of these at a friends house so many years ago but never really played through any of them myself. $10 for everything included seems like a deal.
