I just tried the demo a couple days ago, and I enjoyed it. Just found out that it has local and online multiplayer co-op for 1-4 players ... definitely picking this one up.

I have it and enjoyed it while I can..just like every other xbla game which online portion dies out sooner or later. It's worth the $ and @ $5 it's worth it so get it when it's on sale. It's got 4 player online co-op and I love to chainsaw
i just dont see myself spending any money on these 'arcade' games. i rather spend my time and money towards real games.
psssst! you're in the wrong thread then!
and for the record, i'd put 'shadow complex' and 'battlefield 1943'
up against alot of your so called real games.

ZA on sale has me stoked. As a fan of all things Zed, I was just asking a friend last week if ZA was a worthwhile purchase. He likes it. I asked if achievements were hard or tough and never heard back. But with the price slashed, It's a no brainer. :)

I'd pay 2-3 times the XBLA price for a real copy of Shadow Complex. It'd be a far better value. I could loan it to friends, I could resell it, I could keep it for 100 years. I'd own it. Arcade games are basically just a rental.

That's not to say I'll refuse XBLA games. But their depreciation value is a instant 100%, which makes the cheapass in me freak out.

im not too clear on the new USB Drive usage on the 360 but...
can't you move arcade games to drives and then other consoles?

AFAIK, XBL games are tied to your gamertag, so if you went to a buddy's house, you could recover your gamertag and re-download the game. I don't believe you can transfer the XBL games through the USB drives, but I could be wrong.

XBLA games (for that matter, most marketplace content) is tied via DRM to both the gamertag that purchased it and the console on which it was bought.

For example, if GAMER_TAG1 decides to buy "UNO", then they will be able to play it on the conosle where it was purchased, even if they are not signed into Live. If they go to another console, they can still play the game, but *must* be signed into Live with an active internet connection.

To take it a step further, GAMER_TAG2 can also play "UNO" on the original console even though they did not purchase it. They will not be able to play it on any other console though, unless GAMER_TAG1 is signed in to Live at the same time on the same console.

This means that GAMER_TAG1 can go to a friend's house, purchase content on their console, then go back home and both can play the full game (provided GAMER_TAG1 is signed into Live).

Before anybody gets all uptight about doing this, know that I am not promoting it, just presenting it. I would encourage you to read through the license agreement though ... it is quite clearly documented there.
Meh for me, but I'm insanely happy with last week's Trials HD sale. Amazing physics in this game!
Wait, what? There was a Trials HD sale??

Monkey Island SE? Sweet. I was regretting not buying it when it was a deal of the day. I have very fond memories of playing it on my first PC. It was actually the first PC game I ever bought, so playing it again will be an interesting test of my memory.

I wonder if they are going to do another Thrify Thursday sale tomorrow?

wow I was waiting to buy GTA4 ballad of gay tony.
25% off is a great deal and it is even sweeter when you buy it with point that you bought 25% off a couple of weeks ago !
