Don't forget guys this one is in video to but it's an i-tunes exclusive so go to i-tunes and search cagcast video cast.
what what what?

Thank for this, didnt expect it so it will have to wait until tomorrow morning.

I'm not sure if you guys mentioned it or got word of it but Guru of Gangstarr passed away yesterday and I think it would be pretty damn awesome if Cheapy somehow provided an intro/outro to the next podcast with Guru's music. While we're at it and I'm thinking about it how about one for Nujabes as well?

Very cool. The combination of Justin McElroy and the CAGCast reminded me of the Globetrotters appearing on Scooby Doo. Quite a crossover.

And here is my CAGcast search story:
My morning commute just got a whole lot better. The Bombcast will have to wait till tomorrow.
This week's Bombcast was pretty hilarious but if I'm ever running late on my podcasts CAGCast before Bombcast.

I've never heard Justin McElroy but man he is entertaining. He was hilarious and a great addition to the show this week.
video games as art
oh god. if I have to hear Wombat argue that Heavy Rain is artsy for art's sake I think I can skip right over that segment.

God DAMNIT! I cant stand that fucking Justin's voice or attitude. He is the reason I don't listen to the Joystiq podcast. Why the hell is he ruining my otherwise wonderful CAGCast. Do you feel like you absolutely HAVE TO HAVE 3 people now?

The difference in the pokemon games' sales appears to be because people prefer the exclusive pokemon in the Silver version for whatever reason.

You've got some issues, he's probably the nicest guy in gaming media today. Funny as hell, too.
You've got some issues, he's probably the nicest guy in gaming media today. I don't know, he just sounds like someone who needs to be punched.

Great discussion about the ethics of these paid junkets. It's one thing to go to a party and have a few drinks and finger food, it's another when they pay you to fly out to Hawaii. Cheapy's right when he says consumers ultimately pay for this. Especially when you consider the questionable DLC Capcom charged customers with in 2009. At the very least the press should note that they were flown out to this event in their previews.

Haha, I can't believe that there's people that've never been inside a truckstop! Cheapy and Wombat, you need to visit a Georgia truckstop one day, it's absolutely awesome. You need to visit at midnight, too. It's absolutely magical. Great show, guys. I really loved listening to this show.

I think he has an awesome voice made for radio/podcasts. Sort of like a cartoon character :D

yeah the karate kid 2 truth is a harsh pill to swallow. on top of that the little castle never existed but the place where daniel almsot got impaled is still around.
ach, please don't include Justin in any other cagcasts
Thank you! I thought I was totally alone on this one.

I was looking forward to this, but now that I know Justin McElroy is on it, I'm not quite sure......his attitude, voice, and mic presence are all horrible. He's the reason why I quit listening to the joystiq podcast.

Justin's laugh sounds like a laughing hyena scratching his nails on a chalkboard. My poor stock stereo system in my Jeep is cringing at his every sound. Love Justin, hate his laugh.

Thanks for vindicating my comment from last weeks show, Wombat. Kinda back fired, huh? Just wondering why I went from sounding super nerdy to valley girl to sobbing child in one rant. I actually sound like a young Robert Goulet.
Great show, cheapy!

Lol @ this.

Justin is the man. fucking hilarious, cannot wait to listen to this. Joystiq + Cag = legendary! Two out of my big three (Bombcast, CAG , and Joystiq)!

Yeah I agree with you. Sorry CheapyD but I can't stand Justin's voice. It sounds like he has a cold and has an apple stuck in his throat or something. Then the snort as a laugh just tops it off. I still like him though, really nice and funny guy. I'd like to see him on it more. Justin was a nice addition to the CAG Cast :)

Nice show though.

Wombat is a Samoan Jew :bouncy::lol:

Sufferin' succotash! I thought Shipwreck's voice was annoying, McElroy's voice sounds like pennies in a garbage disposal. I guess I'm just spoiled by the velvety voices of Cheapy and Wombat.

Yo, Cheapy, are you no longer uploading the episodes to the Zune Marketplace?

The last two episodes haven't been on there...

Jeff Gerstmann talked about how the trip to Hawaii for Captivate was on the Giant Bombcast. He said the view from his hotel room was great, and otherwise it was like any event you ever attend where you're stuck working in a hotel all day everyday. Some journalists evidently stayed longer on their own dime, but he didn't.

It sounds to me like the whole junket shame thing is overblown.

I feel that wambat hasn't given Heavy Rain a fair chance. If you have reached a real decision making moment and you see why this game is different. And it has more freedom than you have given it credit for. Wambat you are a movie fan so why not enjoy the "QTE game" the way it was designed for?

I'll admit that I had never heard Justin talk before and when I first heard his voice I was a little taken aback. However, after listening to the CAGcast I really enjoyed his humor. I actually went and listened to both episodes of MBMBAM and was thoroughly entertained.

I thought this was the best CAGcast in a long time. Justin was an incredible addition to this weeks show and I hope he will be a guest in later shows. Fantastic work, keep it up! :D

I love CAG and the guys that run it, but with all due respect, it is the most BORING game podcast in world wide world. Justin McElroy is just what the doctor ordered. I'm a fan of the Joystiq show so I thought I'd give the old CAG another try. That dude is like salt on food. He just makes everything better!

I loved the CAGcast this week. I'll be honest, I've never heard his voice before today, at least not that I remember, and nothing about it stood out to me in any negative way. I have no idea what previous posters are talking about. Justin was a great addition and this appearance has not only convinced me to subscribe to My Brother, My Brother, and Me, but I've already watched some of The Time Belt. Great show, and if you guys ever need a stand-in again, please ask Justin first.

I realize how overly positive this post has been, so to head off anyone before they ask, my last name is not McElroy.

The chronology of the Trauma series is:

Trauma Center: Under the Knife (DS)
Trauma Center: Second Opinion (Wii) which is a remake/expansion of Under the Knife
Trauma Center: New Blood (Wii) - new game thats not connected to the original
Trauma Center: Under the Knife 2 (DS) - sequel to the original
Trauma Team

Goddamn that Wambat. Goddamn him straight to hell!

:D

I loved the inclusion of Justin on the show. I just started to listen to the Joystiq podcast in the last month and have added their show to my weekly downloads. The Time Belt is awesome, but the YouTube captions make it a-may-zing!

"It's like watching a whole different movie!"

Justin's trip to the stripclub sounded very similar to a strip club place I went to in 2007. Tiny Tina (perhaps the same midget stripper that Justin saw) was performing, and I showed up with a group of friends. As soon as I walked in, I was immediately hit with the incredibly thick stench of exploitation. Even for strip clubs, the level of perversion was set ungodly high.

Tiny Tina was actually too small to actually work the pole (her sausage fingers incapable of gripping the bar), so I watched as she shimmied around it while people threw wadded up dollar bills at her. Whoever tossed the bills into her cup ended up "winning" a free signed Poloroid picture with Tina (otherwise she charged $10).

Then, some black dude ate chocolate chip cookies off her ass.

...

I drank pretty heavily that night.
