so i just got an email from gamestop to register at erewards and earn rewards...but is it a good idea to register?

I've earned probably $100 in GS credit from them over the past ~18 months without any problems. I'll stick with them until they drop the Gamestop giftcard reward option.

I've gotten about 125 dollars worth of Gamestop Giftcards from them. It's a bit of work sometimes, but I'd say worth it over all.

Totally trustworthy. Like Halo, I've earned tons in Gamestop giftcards. It takes awhile to accumulate enough points to cash in for a $25 GC, but they're definitely trustworthy.

Ditto with earning about $100 in giftcards. My only problem with them is that some of their surveys are shady. Instead of determining eligibility with the first few questions, some surveys will kick you out after you've wasted time and answered about 15 to 20 questions.

I am another one that can say that e-rewards is legit. I have earned $125 in GS giftcards in about 18 months from them. Some things to know:

For the GS giftcard, you only get $25 when your actual rewards on e-rewards is $50. (not sure if other gift cards are more)

You can only redeem every 3 months

On your anniversary date of when you join, BE SURE to cash in whatever reward you can. Any unused amount is cut in half on your anniversary. I almost had $50 built up and then my anniversary came, and all of a sudden I had $20 something in my account. I learned the hard way the first year.

alright cool, thanks for all the info guys. i'm not seeing any surveys so i guess i'll just wait for some to be available.

It takes awhile for the surveys to start rolling and even then, you will experience dry spells. Just make sure you don't get them redirected to a spam folder and you do the online profile thing for e-rewards so they know what kind of surveys to send you.

I'm registered as a doctor :p One time I got a $40 survey about rubber gloves but I guess I screwed up one of the early questions and got kicked out of the survey before earning the full credit.

yeah e-rewards is pretty trustworthy although it did take me awhile to get a giftcard from them but it was worth it since it doesn't take much time or effort but it's worth it.

I've earned way too much to count from e-rewards and this is pretty much the only reason I shop at GS. So yes they are very trustworthy, but as other said it might take a while to earn enough points for the gift cards.

alright i just did my first survey and earned a whopping 50 cents! oh well it took less then 5 minutes so i can be patient in earning credit.

You can only get a gift card once per calendar quarter anyway (Jan/Apr/Jul/Oct).

Yah, same experience, lots of giftcards, but lately, probably for about 3 months in fact, I haven't received a single survey. I wonder if I was racking them up a little too quick for the boys over at e-rewards, so I'm sitting on about $25, needing to get to $50 for the giftcard.

so sine i registered on the 27th, i've only been able to do 1 survey and that was for 50 cents...is it usually this slow?

Yep. Especially when you're just starting out, while they gather all your 'stats' (to know which surveys to send you.)

Make sure your set to recieve the maximum amounts of offers possible, and always click the 'next' button when you finish a survey and offers to let you see if you have more offers. Those often lead to profile-expanding mini-surveys, and sometimes addtional surveys you wouldn't see otherwise.

Finally, be paitent... remember everything you get is a freebie, so it's worth the wait.

I always have enough funds to get 2 giftcards at a time if they would let me but they wont.So when i cashout for one quarter i already have the next quarters $ earned for the giftcard and by the time the next quarter rolls around i have enough for 2 again.Been doing it this way for almost 2 years now it seems like.

Also when my anniversary date was up i got an email from them stating they moved me into some higher member group or something that would make none of my $$ get cut it half.

Been using the site for a while. I get the GS gift cards like everyone else mentioned and have also taken part in telephone surveys and recieved anywhere from $50-$100 for 30 minutes on the phone. Good site.

is it common to not get full credit on the surveys? like i just did one that took about an hour (including watching a half hour pilot episode for a new comedy show) and at the beginning it said it was for $12, but when i reached the end it told me they had already gotten enough responses so i only got a few bucks instead.

Unless you lie like crazy, then ya, it's very common to not be able to get full credit.

Be glad you got the bucks you did- my computer won't run the video plug-in, so I can't do those big fat TV show surveys.
3 new surveys got around $20 so far, only been doing it for a week
damn i've been doing it for a week and only got $5.80 so far

I've been at it for a week now too. got about $17. I didn't qualify for a bunch so I got partial credit. Then I got a $12 survey about TV shows and had to watch an episode of a new show called "Who Gets the Parents?" Took 45 minutes to an hour. Can't wait to get $50!

I made $12 today taking a survey on Ice Tea. Up to $15 now. It was kind of funny, it did the check for sound thing at the beginning, then there was no sound at all during the rest of the survey.

I made $5 on a 10 minute survey about Compass Bank today. I am halfway to getting yet another GS giftcard, but I cant redeem it for another 2 months regardless.

damn i didn't get any survey offers today at all. and also, do some surveys really take 7-10 days to deposit credit like they say? and also the television one i did yesterday still keeps showing up in my recent opportunities section, even though i already finished it. any reason for that?

i must have my profile set to be a bum,, only credits i can get are a quarter or two...lol hope for some larger ones soon

Guys, I don't know what you are talking about. I have been a member of this site for at least two years and have never seen Gamestop gift cards offered. Here's a pic of a list of company rewards offered:

.

Also once you redeem a reward--say a free game rental from Blockbuster--it won't allow you to redeem another of that type for a period of 6 months or so.

that's weird, your list is radically different then mine. also after doing a couple more partial surveys today (and one full one that only got me $2.50), i now almost have $10.

I hate the site. Someone referred me to it for the GS giftcard and I thought to try it. I've only been on it a few weeks and have yet to get more than 2 minutes into a survey. I hate when I have to choose 'none of the above' because that usually kills it. I've made a measly $2.50 and doubt I'll get to $50 by next year at this rate.

Why can't they tell me the right answers so I can get full credit for a change?

You're allowed to lie.

Ive gotten 3 25 dollar lamestop gift cards through them without a single issue. Getting those gift cards is only time I shop at lamestop.

Sadly though lamestops policy is you have to have double the amount of dollar credits than the gift card is worth. So in order for me to get a 25 dollar gift card I have to cash in 50 dollars worth of points.

But yeah it works fine.

Becuase you're likely in line for more than 1 survey, and depending on your answers, you'll get moved into whatever survey needs more data. Plus, if they tell you what they want you to say, it'll compromise the data, won't it?

As stated, no one'll know if you lie- if it bothers you that much, do it! My fiance always lies- he once got a survey asking which pay-per-view shows he watched... he clicked everything and ended up in a survey about porn. It was damn funny. :D

I emailed them about taking a 40 minute survey and getting only $0.50. They emailed me back and credited my account $20.

That's my point, how do I know what to lie about to get full credit? Will a choice push me along or cancel me out? I mean I really do little outside of working and playing games so I can't honestly do any surveys relating to movies, eating out, cell phone service, the majority of TV shows, purchasing brand name goods, and probably all the things they'll poll me on. I was hoping to get surveys allowing me to complain about these things but by the time I answer 3 or 4 questions I get my 25 cents and it's over.

My fiance usually didn't get booted from surveys- when presented with a list of 'have you done this?' he clicked everything. He always picked the highest income bracket available. Basically, act like you're flithy rich with nothing better to do than fritter your money away on random crap and you should be good for most.

I remember one annoying survey for me, though-
'thanks for doing this, click to proceed.' *click*
'Your survey will take X amount of time. Click to proceed.'*click*
'Don't use your browser buttons, use ours. Click to proceed.' *click*
'OK- male or female?' *click female*
'Sorry, you don't qualify!'

That kinda made me mad- stupid annoying instruction clicks...

I took one about cellphones the other day. One of the questions was like: "If the following cellphone brands turned into a real person, which would you most like to hang out with?" What the hell are you talking about?

I have been using e-rewards since I was also sent there by gamestop. I figured, "why not?" Anyway, I have only received 2 GS gift cards. I don't lie because I don't want to ruin it for everyone else. Sometimes it's worth it, sometimes it's not. You will run into the occasional survey which asks you for 5-10 minutes of answering questions before telling you that you do not qualify (though we can all assume they keep those responses for their survey anyway).

Whether it's worth it or not will depend on what companies need survey's done and what demographics you fit into. Chances are, if you're a white male under 25 making under 20k a year without a college degree or fancy job, your survey selection will be more limited. If you are a minority female over 30 making $100k a year with a post-grad degree and you're a CEO of a company, you'll probably get requests for surveys every day. In all honesty, I get 5 or 6 requests per week, sometimes more, sometimes less. Most surveys are only a couple $s IF you qualify, but others can be as high as $15 or $20.

The one thing I do not like is the dollar system. It seems like the GS gift card is the only one that requires you earn $50 before you can trade for $25. To me though, I can do these surveys while I watch some TV or doing nothing, so it's worth it. Takes a while to get the gift card. I have also ordered magazines and a few other things, but the prize selection sucks. I'm hoping that they add to it as time goes on, like maybe some tangible items, but it's okay. Certainly adds up quicker than Club Bing.
