Ninja Gaiden DS ($8.74) at Seattle Fred Meyers

CAGiversary!
The title says it all. Ninja Gaiden: Dragon Sword is on clearance at Fred Meyer, for $9.97. For whatever reason, the game rings up at the register for $1.99 less. The receipt says:

"1894601052 DS SFTWARE 9.87 T
SC941000003497 DS SFTWARE 1.99-T
TAX 0.76
****Balance 8.74
"

I guess DS clearance games have an extra -$2 applied?

Killer, killer deal.

I bought a copy for myself and a copy for my buddy in the service. They had three, but when I went back tonight to buy the copy for my friend, there was only one. Fred Meyer on 85th St. is sold out (sorry), but others might have some back stock.

Just don't be a douche and try to flip the copies on ebay. Totally excellent game. I'm actually ashamed I didn't buy it when it came out (and disappointed, knowing that Team Ninja probably won't ever make a new game). I was doubtful that an action-heavy game like Ninja Gaiden would translate to the DS very well, but it's really quite incredible how much fun it is.

Good luck, fellow Seattle CAGers. :D
Fred meyer always has some % off clearance thing going. Rite now its 20% off that's why it was 1.99 less.
That explains it. I like it when they go down to 40% off some weeks :D

I guess that makes sense, huh? Well, I'm certainly not complaining. That was 'deal of the century' cheap, in my book. What a brilliant little game, too.

Fred Meyer usually has a really ass-butt selection (of games that are weeks-if-not-months late to the shelves), and they do a piss-poor job of keeping the popular games in stock. That said, they do have a decent sale, every-so-often.

On thursday there was a 10 dollar off 50+ coupon in electronics. I think one year they had that running with the 40% and i got a butt load of good stuff. I remember the warhawk ps3 bunde was like 14 dollars after discounts.
