So for those who may have got in on the the "Humble Indie Pack" (http://www.wolfire.com/humble) sale going on, the developers of Penumbra advertised being able to snag the entire Penumbra Collection for $5 with the purchase of said pack.

For those who are only interested in Penumbra and the collection (like me) in order to get the discount, use the code:IDONATED to receive a $15.00 discount off the normal $20 retail price.

Also, for those interested, you can also purchase Frictional Games' new game, Amnesia:The Dark Descent for $10 (as opposed to the $20 retail price) until May 11th!

I've been flirting with preordering Amnesia for awhile. This might be a good reason to.

BTW guys, when the game comes out you can get a serial upon request to activate it on steam. I saw that come from one of the devs on their forums.

This game looks creepy though :D

If you are going to do this, do at least give $1 to The Humble Indie Bundle. One extra buck for four extra games is really worth it, especially when a chunk of that buck (or even the whole thing, if you like) will go to charity.

I'm not against giving to charity Mok, but I have little desire to purchase the pack, seeing as I already own 3 out of the 5 games. I really wanted Penumbra, and decided the collection was better in such a situation.

I definitely plan on giving again to Child's Play though.

They've gotten about 400 more pre-orders since I checked a day or two ago. They might reach the extra content goal of 2000. For $10, I'll bite and try and help them make it. Thanks OP.

I'm certainly not accusing you of doing otherwise! I'm just pointing out that if people use the IDONATED code without actually donating, then they're getting this deal without giving anything to some worthy causes--and that getting people to give to those causes is, in fact, the point of the coupon.

So it would be cool if those who are interested exclusively in the Penumbra games would, nonetheless, throw a little money in the direction of the Bundle. That's all I mean.

I got the bundle yesterday, but i really wanted the whole penumbra collection. this is awesome. c'mon guys, don't just jack the devs!

In for Amnesia!

Looks scary!

If they get 2000 pre-orders, the game will be given extra content, last I checked it was just under 1000.

That's what I did. Also, the games are DRM free, so give the copy of Penumbra Overture you receive in the Humble Indie Bundle to a friend or family. Also, play it in the middle of night with headphones blaring! :whee:

Here's details of the "extra content" that will be included if 2000 pre-orders are received by May 31st:

"At 2000 pre-orders, placed before the 31st of May, the game will get extra content in the form of a commentary track. By enabling commentaries, members from Frictional Games will talk about the creation of Amnesia: The Dark Descent during your playtrough.

The commentaries will be in English only!"
