If you bought a game online at gamestop can u return to the store?

Yes you can. Just make sure you print out the receipt from online. Otherwise they just give you store credit if you only have the receipt that came with the package.

Yes. The Guys at my GS were even cool enough to let me exchange a PS3 version of a game for the 360 version. Even with the huge price difference from online and in stores :)
 
I just did this. I picked up Persona on PSP used and then the prices dropped while it was shipping. I took in my copy, the receipt I printed from the transaction (my shipping manifest was MIA) and got a new copy with the soundtrack and the $5 difference back. All the information they needed to do the return was on the papers I brought in.
 
I have another question about GS returns:
I pre-ordered RDR online with the 25%off, but wanted to get it day of. Would I be able to buy the game day of and return the game I recieve later in the mail as if it were the game i bought in-store? Any way they would be able to tell the difference?

No way to tell the difference, all the UPC codes are the same. CAGs talk about doing this all the time on the Amazon threads for those without Prime or release day delivery. Always sparks a debate over fraud, but let's not open that door here. To answer the question at hand, yes you can do that.

Watch out since the GS version is SE with soundtrack, so it might have a different UPC than that from other retailers.

You should be able to pick up a copy from a GS store on day 1 and return the copy from the mail though, since they are the same company.
