given the amount of money one would be spending gs could really afford to offer 35 to even 50 % off a wii game with this puchase.. damn gamestop.. i may or may not use it though since i do have a black wii preordered... just that i donno if my wallet will let me, damn scrooge :)
 
I might pick up GHIII for $4 after edge, but then again maybe not. Coupon is a no go, especially with the online sale. With the bad B&M coupons (and higher in store prices anyway) and the great online deals over the last couple of months it is almost like gs.com is actively trying to kill B&M GS.

Used deal of the week are in-store only (I believe), while 25PRE is obviously online only. So I don't think you'll have much luck with that combo.

That's a really shitty thing to do to them IMO. If you're doing it with a regular game at least they can put it back on the shelf and sell it again. With a system they'll have to pull every single part out to make sure it's all there, and then I dunno what happens but I don't think they can sell it as new anymore.

Plus it would be almost minutes apart, so not enough time to do a open, and swap.


What they could do is stop dicking with us and release a real coupon.
 
Wouldn't 25% off with a Wii bundle be... the same as the 25% sale going on right now? Seems like a pretty bad deal to me, considering the prices in the stores are higher than online?
 
Does anyone else think that having a multiplayer mode be a retailer exclusive is rather odd? Speaking of Blur's "Super Destructo Multiplayer Mode". That just sounds like a great way to be sure that nobody is playing "Super Destructo Multiplayer Mode". What am I missing?

I've been to a Gamestop where they open all new returns up in front of you when you return something. Not sure what would happen if something really was missing and it wasn't your fault, though, as I've purchased a factory sealed PS2 game in the past with the Sony seal on top and the disc was missing.

traded in my launch day wii (Nov 07), 2 remotes, 2 nunchucks and a few old 360 games and got a black wii for $9.18. picking it up sunday.

also keep in mind, all of my remotes were from launch as well.

yep, but dont forget, you're getting a new black controller, nunchuck, and motionplus...so it ended up being a really decent deal.

I really wanted to trade in my Wii for the new Wii bundle as I have a launch Wii. Problem is that your virtual console games are non transferable. I called Nintendo to ask if they could help me out. Of course not. Granted I only have $30 of virtual console games on there, but it's the point of not being able to transfer it. I don't feel I should have to re-purchase these virtual console games. Why can't they do something similar to XBox when you get a new console you can just swap everything over to the new one?
