Diablo 3 can be found in part 7.

I am new to the site, but I decided I will write mini-reviews of the games I play as I go on. I hope this is alright to post this here. But I already did reviews of the games I played in the most recent weeks, and I will update this as often as I can.

Let me know if you guys have any feedback! The links to the two blogs are in my sig below.

Can anyone give me some feedback so far?

I added a ton of games recently, I am trying to review as many as I possibly can.

I haven't read the reviews yet, but the scores are annoying. I'd recommend getting rid of the tenth of a point review scores. Stick with 1/2 numbers at the least. How big of a difference is a 7.1 vs a 7.0 or a 7.2?

Other than that, I'll give them a read. As long as they're coherent and the grammar and spelling are correct, they should be good.

And I had to expand to a second blog, ran out of space.

Here is part 2:

I use the tenth of a point scale because its a little easier for me to organize in my mind. Maybe a game is better than a .5 score, but its not good enough to meet the next whole number, so somewhere along the way is where it falls in my mind.

I also color coded the scores now.

I read a couple of your reviews and I really liked it. Short and to the point; no fluff. It reminds me a lot of the short review summaries at the end of IGN reviews.

I could see myself checking out your blog before purchasing games. Keep it up!!

:D!

Thanks man thats really nice!

Unfortunately I have been busy as hell lately, 5 day trip, 2 days to come home and pack, and just moved 3 hours away and still unpacking as of now.

Bump.

A lot of updates since the last time i posted in here, now spanning 2 blogs! Over 80 reviews, working my way toward 100 now.

Very nice collection of video game reviews here. I agree with your score and justification for NBA 2k10, MW2, FO3, and the Orange Box. If anyone wants a quick opinion, your the go-to guy

I know it's already been said and I understand why you score with .tenths of score, but I don't see the point of it. If the game seems to deserve a score a tiny bit higher than a #.0 or #.5, then you can either round down or round up. Making it a .0 or a .5 score. Your scoring system might work if you did the review in parts (Gameplay,Soundtrack,Controls, etc) and then average those scores together, but with this style it seems just unnecessary.

You could also simply say "Buy, Rent, or Skip". I'm just looking at the style you have, and the mini-reviews really don't seem to justify a very technical score.

Sorry if it seems like I was being harsh on you, I was just offering suggestions and I do enjoy reading your reviews, looking forward for more to come! Keep up the good work!

An interesting idea, though it's somewhat hard to get a sense of what the game is like with only a paragraph. I definitely agree with your review of Metro 2033, great start, then it all fell apart. To me it was the awful difficulty spikes and brain dead AI that were worst, but honestly it just didn't live up to my expectations:(
