I couldn't check out the link (requires registration), but here's the dealio.

The GameCube version came out several months earlier than the X-Box version, so naturally, the GameCube has more online content. Interestingly enough, though, the X-Box version has more Downloadable content. Since the GC doesn't have a harddrive, it's kind of difficult to have downloadable quests (won't fit on memory card).

As of now:

X-Box DL quests: 1 (Central Dome Fire Swirl)
GameCube DL quests: 0

The X-Box has pretty much caught up in Online content. Only two or three Episode 2 Challenge mode quests behind, actually. Also, the X-Box version has a few exclusive online content that utilizes the voice-chat feature that the GC version obviously doesn't have. Plus, they don't have the risk of online corruption (FSOD-X). That alone is a significant reason why the X-Box version is preferred over the GC version.

I don't even know why this person is complaining about GBA content. The X-Box doesn't have GBA connectivity.

Hope that clears up some things.

Even if the GC version was getting more love, give them a break. Look at their online game selection, then compare both versions, see?

the GCN gets more love because people have to buy a network adaptor solely for the game, and Sonic Team has a proven track record of wanting to develop things for the Cube. also cube owners have to buy the game at a far more expensive price point(they were giving away PSO with live last summer at EB in June and sticking to the 49.99 tag that live costs) and most cube owners also have to invest in a keyboard.

as for quests, I believe Minx is right

SEGA always seems to do holiday themed events (GBA Nights, etc. ) and other stuff for PSO on cube but not much on the Xbox, but then again I am not into PSO so I may be wrong.

PSO was originally supposed to only come out for the GC, but Microsoft paid some good moola to get an Online RPG for the X-Box (until True Fantasy Live Online was finished).

Anyway, the X-Box gets the same holiday content (Easter, Halloween, Christmas, Valentines/White Day, etc.) around the same time. X-Box players never miss out on this stuff, and sometimes get different (read: better) rewards. The cheating is also less of a concern (a few hackers on X-Box vs. 99.99% population of dupers/max-statters/multi-equippers and Action Replay-users on GC). Did I mention the X-Box has a harddrive? PSOX can be patched; can't do jack for the GC servers.

However, even if I had the option, I would pick the GC version over the X-Box version anyday. Players from around the world makes for a better community (as opposed to the all American servers on the X-Box). Plus, you get to play with cute Japanese girls named LUMINOUS.

You shoould get PSO for the X-Box WhipSmartBanky...

I had PSO for the GCN and the BBA but never went online. I put 5 hours into PSO and found out it was not my type of game (the hacking and slashing was way too slow and boring)
And the GCN disc is smaller too. Those Bastards!!!!!
that really should not come into play though since it was a DC games and two DC games still leave a little bit of room on a GCN disc.

I probably would have liked it more, but I do not like to play games that are all that deep and involved (sometimes I do but lately I have not)

and lets not forget that everything that goes for d/l on xbox has to go through microsofts screening...i dont ahve the xbox pso i have the gc one, but i remember for the rosters for espn football, always so many complaints of why we didnt get it yet, and it was because it had to go through m$ first.
