CAGiversary!
so the semesters over and have a little free time. there was a book that someone recommended to me but i cant remember the title. what she told me about the book was something along the line of peoples first encounters with psychiatrist and or psychologist and how they read people based on their 1st meeting. also anyone know any good books on body language?

I've no books based on body language to recommend to you, however I do have two grand stories I read over my Summer breaks years ago. They would be The Thief Lord and The Golden Compass. Don't cop out and watch the poor movies. ;)

I'll def check'em out. I'm Start reading "from hell" and "a history of god" and I found 1 body language book, but looking for a good book on the topic. Any books to help with analytical reading? My professor always stressed analyzing what people say, an analytical protrait through vocabulary.

Still drawing a blank. Most novels though have to depict body language vividly so you can picture every thing that is happening with and around the characters, so back to my original recommendation of reading those stories some day. You might just pick something up unexpectedly.

hey does anyone know the book that shawn elliot talked about in one of his podcasts a while back (i think it was out of the game) where he was reading a book about a lady who lived a year off 100 dollars a week or something like that? ive been thinking about it and wanted to read it.

About 5 years ago someone let me read this book about he civil war. I can not remember the name of it but the first 5 or so chapters were just boring as hell. I have been wanting to give the book another chance but can not find it or anything about it online. It was a fiction book based on if the civil war was still going on today. All I remember about the name of it was something project. It is an old book so I don't even know if I could get it still.

Sorry I meant psychological portrait, not anaLytical one. That's what he wanted to drill in our heads as far as reading goes! Try an get into the characters psyche, dam do I hate Shakespeare! So gay!
A Game of Thrones is a good book
I'm actually giving this a second try. Read it years ago and it did nothing for me.

My favorite books are from Orscon Scott Card (Ender's game/Ender's Shadow). I've read the whole series but those 2 are more widely accepted. The other books are VERY different but I enjoyed them just as much. The characters in these books are very analytical. It's not what you are looking for but if you give them a chance you will want to read more.
