Battery replacement?

I noticed that my battery isn't holding as big of a charge as it used to. As of now, it's barely holding 5 hours when fully charged, when it used to hold around 10 hours when I first got it. Is there any way of replacing the battery or do I need to get a new DS?

You can easily replace the battery in the DS. Just search for "DS Battery" in Ebay or Amazon and you will have plenty of options to choose from.

if you buy it on ebay you are buying a knockoff. You can get it from nintendo at nintendo.com

eBay can be a great place to get batteries and other parts as long as you are careful. Make sure the listing says it is a genuine Nintendo product. Stay away from sellers that are in China or Hong Kong. Also, read the seller's feedback. If any of the feedbacks mention fake or knock off items stay away from that seller.

Buy if from Nintendo, it's like $15 for the genuine one.

Just bought a replacement battery for the DSi, it was only holding about 3 hrs which sucked balls. Got the genuine one from nintendo.com, paid the extra shipping and got it the next day. Just make sure you have a really small phillips screwdriver to open the battery compartment..
