I'll have to go in again tomorrow and grab Shift @ $10. Had it before and sold it online at basically what I paid for it... It didn't look that bad, but not good enough for me to open it, and lose a lot of value on it.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

ichit4k4_set0 is right it's no longer here and when you looks up NFS:Shift it shows $29.99

must have been a 1 day only sale. that's garbage. just like the Halo 3 deal, on RFD someone said a store rep said it might be next week. i'm just wondering if i call in and ask if it will be next week i'l probably get the famous one liner " we don't know anything till we get a Email "

Thanks for info Ranzo. We are waiting for later then.

I assume you cannot confirm the $9.99 (or $9.98?) price.

Good info on Killzone 2, might have to get this back, I traded it to EB for $25 value (t2+X$) this past week.
shift is on the list just not this week. killzone is on there too.
are you 100% sure. i don't want my heart broken again

Ok, I'm a bit hesitant to post this after what happened last week, but according to info provided by Smooth~ over on RFD here's how EB/Gamestop's September Deal of the Week schedule should play out:

Week of August 30: Halo 3 (360) -- $19.99
Week of Sept 6: Need for Speed: Shift (360 & PSP) -- $9.89
Week of Sept 12: Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (360 only) -- $19.99
Week of Sept 19: Shaun White Snowboarding: World Stage (Wii) -- $9.89
Week of Sept 25: Killzone 2 (PS3) -- $19.99

Limited time sale Sep 3-6 only: Splinter Cell: Conviction (360) -- $19.99
Note: Currently scans at $39.99, but once the CSR rings it through as a sale you will get it for $19.99, according to the folks on RFD.

So there's another limited time sale at EB/GS from September 6th to September 11th. This time it's on select EA titles.

Fight Night Round 4 (360) - $4.99
Wii Active (Wii) - $9.99
NCAA Football 11 (PS2) - $9.89
NFS Shift (PC) - $9.89
NHL 10 (PS3) - $29.99
NBA Live 09 (Wii) - $14.99

UPDATE: It looks like the above sale prices aren't in EB/GS's system yet, hopefully by tomorrow. Look for the new EA flyer with all the above deals and get the CSR to manually over-ride the prices. Or wait until later in the week when they sort out this mess.

Need For Speed: Shift is $9.89 only on the Xbox 360. That's what the clerk at the EB I went to said. The PS3 and PSP versions remain at their regular prices and are listed on their "Most Wanted" list, meaning they qualify for Trade 2s and 3s. They are listed in their little brochure. So, if you want the game for under $12, you'll have to buy the 360 version.

Picked it up this morning thanks OP. Also got to see all the high school students skipping school or on free period picking up NHL10 on the first day of school.

Ha, will they be surprised that they paid $69.99 for NHL '10. That will teach them for skipping the first day of school.

+1

Flyer prices are not in system, but I saw flyer myself so I can confirm it exists and begin date was supposed to be Sept 6.

Rep found the flyer after I specified exactly that it was a small EA flyer, it was printed on a white sheet of paper, black and white, cheapest stuff in the world...

Got 2 games cheap, cannot complain!

So, is the EA Active that's 10 bucks the first one with the accessories, or the More Workouts one where it's just the disc and book? I'm guessing the More Workouts one since it's 20 bucks pretty much everywhere and there's little reason why EB would drop the first one.

The flyer SKU is the first one with accessories, and this is the one I got for $10 (Vinman too on RFD).

Does not make sense, but it was gathering dust I assume.

Might be a mistake, better pull the trigger sooner than later.

Hint: FS might want this game back.

Just came back from my errands and picked up the first EA Active for 10 bones (and a few headaches from an unrelated event). Gonna start sweating tomorrie. Thankz again thread!

Just picked up NFS: Shift ($9.89) and FN: R4 ($4.99) today. Thanks for posting the deals ... the clerk didn't know about the deals until he scanned it, and was surprised.

excuse me but does ea active comes with any special device? do I need to buy separate stuff?

The separate stuff comes with Ea Sports Active bundle at $10, the one that is on sale (regular price $65? ).

It's "The two-piece EA Sports Active ... consists of one adjustable leg strap designed to hold a Wii Remote and one stretchable resistance band, with handles at either end."

This is why $10 is such a good price.

And even then, it's really only the Wiimote thing that's completely necessary since the manual itself tells you if the rubber band in the box does not give you enough of a challenge, you can buy your own to match your own strength preference. Or if the band snaps and hits you in the eye, whichever one comes first. :p

And yes, 10 bucks is a really good price since EA sells the accessories separately for 25-30 bucks.

Boourns! The EA sale ended a day early. I think all the prices for the EA stuff went back up to their normal prices today.

Managed to price match Fight Night Round 4 (PS3) and NFS: Shift (360) at Futureshop. Both for roughly $12.40 after tax.

Thanks for the info!

Anyone know if for call of duty 4 "deal of the week", is/was specifically online only? (It may be over, regardless)
Was told that at the store, was wondering if anyone might know for a fact that it should have been overwritten at the lower price. Maybe any employees on here know if it said it in the promo manual? thanks, in advance.

These deals are available both in-store and online.

BTW, I was just confirming that the COD 4 deal was indeed expired. I wasn't making a crack at you or anything.
