Talk about.

the whole notion of mogwais transforming when exposed to water is ludicrous. after all, there is water vapor in the air, so they would never not be exposed to water.

Thats not particularly crazy. Not more so than the notion of mogwais generally. Eating after midnight is way worse than that. Reacting differently to the spectrum of water is not. Why do I need to take a shower, I'm walking through water vapor ALL DAY

I think it's really sad that of all the things Sony could put in their PSP commercials, they choose to advertise Twisted Metal: Head On. Is your handheld so dead that you have to advertise a game that came out, what, five years ago?

Sony has handled the PSP terribly. It would be a perfect fit for beautiful 2d platformers but nooooo.

I'm trying to decide whether I should preorder Reach, DR2, or both.

I ended up pre-ordering DR2 from Amazon just for the Avatar items(Who can say no to a Servbot had with blades?). I'm sure the costumes will be made available sometime down the line anyway.

I agree, The PSP could have been perfect for alot of things.

You should get both! Which is what I'm going to end up doing... This month is going to be a disaster for my credit card.

What do you mean?

Did you talk to the guy on the roof first? Once you do, you can set your guide arrow to lead you to a survivor. If the arrow only leads to where they are supposed to be and not where they actually are, then I have no idea how you might find them.

Its my birthday today, so I feel like playing some of my favorite games. I'm up for multi-player gaming today for those on my friends list. Otherwise, I'll probably just play some Star Ocean: TLHI on PS3 or finally get to Halo 3 on 360.

I did finally play Tales of Rebirth on PSP. Its not as easy to understand as ToD2, but I'm doing fine. Its battle system just might be my favorite in any Tales game.

Thanks, I didn't know that! But the problem I was really having was I couldn't get the guys with the handlebars to spawn. I had to save, quit, and then reload and they popped up.

If you know where they appear you don't even need to talk to him. In fact the only time you ever need to talk with him is when you are trying to get the last survivor. Also I should have asked this first, Did you get the Zombrex and return to the safe house? You need to complete the first part of the case before any survivors spawn.

edit: n/m

Yeah, I did the first thing and got the Zombrex and everyone spawned except the Handlebar guys.

Tales of Rebirth has an awesome battle system, I just wish I understood enough Japanese to understand what the plot is about. Namco Bandai where is my English translation.

I only asked because I watched the Giantbomb Quicklook and Brad couldn't figure that out. But I believe The handle bar guy is one of the last to spawn. And you might need all the other parts first?

It's not rocket science:

Get zombrex from ambulance, return to gas station with bike:
Dick spawns.
Gemini and Fausto spawn.
After 1pm, return to the gas station, when you exit the gas station and the outside area reloads, Tia and Nikki and Sharon will spawn.
After 3pm, return to gas station, when you exit gas station after 3pm, the idiots with the handlebar will spawn.
After 7pm, return to gas station, leave, bob's daughter Darcy spawns.

*YOU HAVE TO GET THE MAIN MAP TO RELOAD TO GET PEOPLE TO SPAWN IF IT'S AFTER THEIR APPOINTED TIME. IF YOU JUST STAY ON THE MAIN MAP FROM 1-7PM, YOU WILL NEVER SEE TIA/NIKKI/SHARON/HANDLEBAR GUYS SPAWN*

I'm kind of hyped for Dead Rising 2 now.

Blur is fucking awesome. Well worth the $10.
Anybody getting Dead Rising 2 on PC?
lol PC Gaming.

I figure that much out myself.

I just preordered Halo Reach. I decided to get the game on release (a $20 Amazon credit is nice). Can't wait, since I started playing Halo 3 and remembered how much I enjoy Halo games.

No, they spawn when Bob says they're around and not any sooner than that. I had one playthrough where I was proactive enough to get every part but the handlebars, which Bob refused to tell me about the handlebar guys because he's a douchebag.

But you never actually have to speak with him(Except when you have to save his daughter). During my 2nd playthrough I knew where everyone spawned. So when I saw Bob waving his arms I knew someone spawned. Also, some people are claiming that they killed Bob and still got everyone else. But I haven't tried doing it myself.

Yeah, me too. I just caressed the case and spun the disc around my fingers. It was a great night.

Nobody ever spawned for me without Bob telling me about them himself, so it was required for me to get all of the survivors. I'd go to the three areas where survivors spawn first and nobody would be there without Bob's wave to signal his approval of unlocking a new survivor. I even got so pissed by this on one playthrough that I shot him in the face until he turned on me and locked myself in his store for the rest of the game, which he'd try to shoot me through the door as zombies slowly killed him.

Even with those issues, he's still a lot better than Otis.

Hmmm, I wonder what I could get for Transformer:WoC with that Gamestop DLC code. I think I'll throw it on Ebay along with the metroid prime trilogy.

I never got around to checking out the GameSpy Debriefings. I listen to way too many podcasts these days already.

There was a good six month or so period before the IGN idiots took over where it was a great podcast with Ryan Scott and Anthony Gallegos.

Bob won't start telling you someone is around until you exit and re-enter the map, from my experience.

Example: It was after 1pm, so I was looking for Tia and Nikki so I could get them and Sharon, but they never appeared... Bob wasn't yelling and screaming for me going to him either. Then I went in the safehouse for something. When I exited, Bob was hooting and hollerin' and since it was after 3, both Tia/Nikki and the handlebar guys spawned. I've tested this on my multiple playthroughs and it works for me.

I had all bike parts minus the handlebars, all doors opened, pawnshop open, and the couple in the bar saved before 1pm and Nikki/Tia weren't there yet. I waited until Chuck's watch hit 1pm exactly and left the safehouse again -- sure enough, bob was screaming to me to come talk to him.

My first playthrough I actually never talked to Bob and was able to get all the parts to the Bike and escape. I just didn't realize he was up there and was too busy trying to find a shotgun to care.

Edit: and the part I was having with the handlebars guy had to be glitched. It was 5 pm and I re-entered/exited the safehouse a ton of times and they just wouldn't show up.

Anyone got pointers for the 1000 zombie thing? I'm spamming the moosehead, but I'm sure that isn't the only super killing machine in the game.

Finished my first playthrough of Case Zero, all in one sitting. I got the D ending first (
Katey and Chuck get captured.
) because I
Still had one part left after fighting Jed, because I didn't realize the Gas Can was just sitting there and not part of a mission; I wasted a lot of time trying to find the Broadsword for Jason and the clock ran out as I took the Gas Can back to the bike.
I reloaded to before the fight and got the A ending right after.

Freaking can't wait for DR2.

Now to 200/200.

Use queens and push the bin of bike parts around for a while before taking it to the safehouse.

Broadswords -- take both out the hunting shop and the moose head -- do a lap with the moosehead, then take the broadswords, head into the biggest crowds you can find and spam x. The twirl will kill everyone around you. Then do what the tanooki says and pick up queens as you see them. Use the queens on a mob -- if there's one left standing in a mob of those killed by a queen, it's got a queen. Rinse and repeat.

I actually started out doing what you were talking about with the mooseheads and broadswords. It made it really easy. I had trouble trying to use the bike cart, so I gave up on that, but I did use Queens, though.

My circuit for the 1k zombies was paddle->moosehead-> kill with moose until it breaks -> smashup the casino->combine paddle with chainsaws. I then worked my way back to the safehouse to rinse/repeat.
