Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe these are what these games are usually on "sale" for, at least most of the time. I remember waiting for the BattleChest to drop to $20 and I picked up my last Burning Crusade for $20; that was a while back.
 
These have been the MSRP prices for almost 2 years. Except for WotLK, I don't think that dropped from $40 to $30 until a year after release. I remember that battle chest was on a black friday sale last year for $15.
 
The Battle Chest retails for $40 normally, so it is a $10 off sale :) The standalone BC and Lich King, however, have been at those prices for quite some time

WOTLK was 36.99 last week on amazon.
