Hey guys address the naked Mafia 2 girls that have surfaced in Onlive brag clips.

CAGiversary!
I was wondering if you guys can address this in the next cagcast. It appears that if you use Onlive and like to check out brag clips your bound to come across some of the naked girl pictures from Mafia 2. If you sort the brag clips by the ratings you find about 5 in the top 100. Well, while this isn't really a bad thing for us older guys, the other day I was browsing the brag clips with my 7 year old son and sure enough we stumbled across one of them. He was like, what was that! As I quickly scrolled past but before I could respond we stumbled upon another one, which then prompted me to quickly exit the brag clip area of onlive and have to explain that it must have been a glitch or something. He didn't ask any other questions so I'd say i was lucky. I just thought this would be a good topic for the show. We often check out the brag clip area, cause some of that stuff is funny shit!!!

Thanks keep up the good work.

Oops this might be better suited in the cagbag. Could someone move it there please. I didn't realize they had a different area for show questions.

Onlive's response

"Thank you for contacting us. At this time we do ask that our members are over the age of 18, hence the request for a credit card to verify that. That being said, we are aware that we do have titles like the Lego games that are geared towards kids, as well as members like yourself who enjoy gaming with their children Do know that we are looking into ways that we can provide the safeguards against such material that you are looking for. I will pass your concerns along to the proper departments to make sure that it's seen. Feedback of this nature is crucial for us to shape our product to better the enjoyment for as many users as we can possibly reach."

I don't get it? I can't move the thread with the edit button?

They meant don't post more than once without someone else posting. You posted three times in a row. If you have something else to say, use the edit button and add to your original post.

Yeah, I mean, it's a M rated game. You should have researched the game to seen that there is nudity in it, and then realized that some of the brag clips probably would have contained the nudity.

If you did not want to expose your son to nudity, you have failed as a parent and the game has very little to do with it.

Tell that to the parents of all the 12 year olds playing shooters talking about rape and gay things.

And this dude.

it is an M rated game. Thats like complaining "i was looking through a playboy with my 7 year old but i was very careful to skip over the nudes, then someone put a dirty joke in there & my son read it!"

Wow, almost all of your responses are snarky, unhelpful and pretty douchy. Also, your "looking through Playboy" analogy, while creative, isn't relevant. You folks are awfully quick to condemn his parenting.
The way I see it:
He's with his kid while gaming. Cool.
OnLive is a gaming service with all types of games, kids games included. Why not expect a kid to be a part of the experience.
It's not like he was scanning the Mafia brag clips specifically, but rather the top 100.
And it doesn't sound at all, to me at least, like he was trying to blame OnLive but rather point out a valid observation.

Bet dude regrets trying to make a point or start a discussion here, or be a part of this incredibly awesome community now. Scratch that last assumption, he's been a CAG since 2004. (See that I used the edit button, that should make someone happy...) Shame really, that so many folks just love to point out how other people are doing something wrong, whether it be posting or fathering.
