Sucks you have to wait, but all in all a good deal in the long run

Not really. This deal is also for the USA, where the pricing is 2 years for $84 plus 1600 Live points.

Break it down, and you can either think of it as $40 a year (plus tax) for 2 years and a free 1600 points. Or, you can think of it as $30 a year (plus tax) for 2 years and then you spent $20 on 1600 points. It isn't a great deal, but it isn't bad, especially with the price hike coming.
 
Yeah I agree, saw it on the dashboard tonight and just thought I would through it out there! lol I didn't realize there was a Canada deal forum in the international section, I posted it there too!

Is the price going up in Canada too ? heard it wasn't.

Canadian deals go in the regional forum, not this one. But the US version of the deal is not that bad, price-wise.
