If you have a BETA code, we'd love it if you could all hop on the BETA on [FONT=Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif]Friday, October 8th, 8pm - 10pm PST to play with devs and a ton of other Dead Space fans.

Hope tonights stress test isn't the end of the beta.
 
For those wondering, your not missing out on anything in the Dead Space 2 MP beta. Its really sub-par with major team balancing issues.

I'm actually enjoying it alot whenever I'm on the Necromorph team. Really doesn't have alot of strategy to it, but it's just mindless fun if you play as the little creepy babies.

Yeah I am not having any fun at all on the beta :(

It's not that bad but yeah the teams are unbalanced as the aliens are pretty weak and get slaughtered easily. They do have a speed and spawn advantage though but luckily the game is still a beta otherwise they'd be in trouble...
 
It wouldn't be so bad for humans if the idiots actually knew how to stick together and back each other up. What I most of the time for the humans is that like 1 or 2 guys will go for the goals while the other 2 will just stay near the spawn and try to get points

I got an invite to the beta makes me not want the game even more than I already did. (I guess this is what happens when you play games till 3am on the weekend)
 
Gotta say I think the beta is pretty bad. Balance sucks. Sorry I can't elaborate more, just not impressed at all.

I'm pretty sure they sent invites to those that signed up for the newsletter.

I played a couple matches today and agree it's not very good. Necromorphs suck for the most part. Any semi-competent human team should win every time.

Also, I'm not a fan of spamming "x" in a competitive MP game. That's just asking for people to use turbo controllers to get an edge.
