that's not mine game, but JAP DDR Extreme for someone

The Japanese version is identical to the one in the arcades and doesnt include the shitty license music from the US one.

yeah the song list.....and the Eyetoy option...
Extreme Import is basically the same list from the Extreme Arcade....Extreme(US) has most of the arcade songs and some songs exclusive for only the US release..my friend has both and its just better to play the Import because it has the full list plus it has Max Period.

The songlist in the Japanese PS2 version isn't identical to the arcade version. The arcade version has around 240 songs, and the Japanese PS2 version has around 110 songs. The Japanese PS2 version is vastly superior to the US PS2 version, but it is still missing some songs like Senorita for example (and it doesn't have any of the Dancemania songs from older mixes that were in the arcade version). It's too bad that more of the Japanese PS2 games weren't identical to the arcade version like the Japanese PS2 version of Max was.

The main problem with the US version of Extreme is the interface. The Japanese PS2 version uses the same interface and grading as the arcade version and the US version has a really tough grading system (Full Combo AND 93% dance points for a AA), and has the horrible lack of dance play settings which turns off the corner panels while playing a song. This makes missed steps occur a lot if you accidently step on 2 panels (like the right arrow and the right corner panel) at once.
