Combination of deals and coupons, good until 11/06/10.

Target has The Sound of Music on BD / DVD for $19.99 in the current ad flier, and they also have Chitty Chitty Bang Bang for $19.99 on BD / DVD. When you buy both of them at the same time, you save $5 on the purchase, knocking them down to $34.98 + tax. The $5 comes off the price of Sound of Music, I believe.

Amazon has a similar deal: buy Sound of Music and Chitty Chitty Bang Bang together for $29.48, and most people won't have to worry about tax.

I posted two links for Chitty Chitty Bang Bang because there are two different versions of the combo, one that comes in a Blu-ray case and another in a DVD case. (This is similar to the dual packaging that Disney has been doing with their releases.) The "Add both to Cart" button adds the product listed as Blu-ray/DVD (as opposed to DVD/Blu-ray) but the picture shows the DVD case in the picture. The DVD/Blu-ray listing shows the Blu-ray packaging. I think this may be an error by Amazon.

I'm going to go ahead and place the order for the Blu-ray/DVD listing and then e-mail customer service to ensure I get the Blu-ray case.
 
I can confirm this works at Target as I did it this morning. Only problem was that the system wasn't at the time doing the $5 off when you bought both.

The cashier I went to tried to tell me that it was $5 off the price making them $19.99 and I was like no lady it's $5 off when you buy both. She got out the sales ad and looked and sent me to another cashier who looked at the page and did it no problem.

If you can go the Amazon route, it saves you tax plus meets FSSS requirements.

First link (ASIN # B003VS0CXS) should be in the DVD packaging, the second link (ASIN # B003VS0CXI) should be in the BD packaging. The one I picked up is in BD packaging, and it lists "BluRay + DVD" on the front slipcover, so I'd assume what's listed on the first part of the A + B is the case that it's in. If if lists BD first, it's in BD packaging, if it lists DVD first, it's in DVD packaging. If Amazon has the pictures wrong, then you might be up for an unexpected surprise.

I just received mine and was given the correct Blu-ray case for the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang combo even though the item I ordered showed a DVD case in the picture. This is what I ordered:

You should send them an email to let them know they have the pictures reversed.
