I really wanna get this on Black Friday!
Same
However, the greatest deal I've seen for it was $40.

Old Navy is giving it away free with $25 purchases on Black Friday. So basically, it's $25 for some clothes and the game together. Awesome deal. But you have to be lined up before midnight...

This is a very fun game. They have 3 songs so far for DLC. Unsure what kind of DLC schedule they are going to have. I don't think it would be weekly though.

3 songs out tomorrow for DLC 240 points per song ($3)

The Black Eyed Peas – “I Gotta Feeling"
Cameo – “Word Up!"
Tag Team – “Whoomp! (There It Is)"

WTF !!

$3 a god damn song ?? are you joking ?!?!

that crazy expensive.

It must be tougher to program these plus add in the cost to choreograph the routines. When I saw the initial launch prices, I said to myself that I can't blind buy any tracks like I can with Rock Band.

Yeah someone on my twitter feed was bitching about the $3 cost. You got figure they have to choreograph three different difficulties and then I'm sure there is some kind of kind of mo-cap involved and don't forget the licensing fees for the music.

I think $3 is more than fair. Just like you gotta buy a dollar for pro guitar/pass. I don't mind that either.

I think I'm going to get all of that DLC lol.

My girlfriend and I are having a blast with the demo. It's fun having a game we both enjoy so I think I'm gonna have to man up and buy it. Question though, each song has it's own set of moves right? Because I'm not interested if it uses the same moves but in different order.

Oh, you're just ticked-off because none of them are about weed.

when you play on harder difficulties you may see a move pop up here and there but it's rare from what I've seen, but not like whole routines rearranged

it's more like "oh here's one move mixed in with all these new moves that I was familiar with"

Thanks to Sean for graciously handing over control of the thread. I've just fixed up the OP with a list of all songs and DLC songs. Plus there's now music videos of each DLC song (hidden by spoiler tags so the post doesn't get too cluttered). I hope this helps everybody.

looks good, I don't think you really need the year period when the song is from but that's just me

edit: also maybe add in Janet Jackson "Control" people that got it at best buy have that song too
Anyone else succeed in getting the game free at Old Navy? My brother and I both scored one. :)

Also, here's the Dance Central Marketplace page. For some reason, it isn't linked properly at Xbox.com.
I was able to score one as well. Now I'm just waiting for my Kinect bundle to come in from the BK contest so I can play it! :bouncy:

I found Whoomp! (There It is) to be pretty fun. I got a feeling was pretty good too. I can't wait to see what they have coming next.

I want kinect just for this game. Anyone know where I can get a stand alone kinect. I dont need nor want a bundle. Kinect by itself is only 150...these bundles are pushing it to 200 plus. Screw that.

Try your local Wal-Mart. Mine has at least three or four for sell by itself.

I think leveling up is just the overall goal that gives the game a small amount of structure. You do earn Achievements and unlock stuff like the hidden character for doing so.
So theres no career mode or anything? What's the point of leveling up?
why does there need to be some career mode? I'm glad it doesn't have something like world tour to grind through personally
I scored at old navy too hehe:applause:
Me too, after waiting for an hour and a half in the FREEZING COLD! :cold:

Word up is pretty awesome. I like the song and the choreography is sweet. Seems to have about half old moves and half new moves. It has cabbage patch, but its quicker and the opposite direction as in Bust a move. I keep doing it the Bust a move direction.

Great game, probably our favorite so far. But I'd like to see more old school songs as DLC. I guess with the new Michael Jackson game coming there is little chance we'll see Thriller any time soon.

I wonder how long we'll have to wait for the Janet Jackson song to appear as DLC (since most of us probably got this game in a deal, not at Best Buy).

Both Best Buys in Madison Wisconsin had stacks of codes just sitting in the kinect area. Check your local Best Buy, you might see it there too.

Why did you take only one? Grr. If anyone does find a stack of codes, please nab one for me.
But you can also buy them on Ebay for about $3.

Tuesday's DLC will be:

* Blur - "Girls & Boys" - 240 Microsoft Points
* Rihanna - "Disturbia" - 240 Microsoft Points
What's the code for on the back of the manual? It's not the typical 25-character code for Xbox Live Marketplace content.
Most likely an extraction code for future Dance Central titles like Harmonix did for Rock Band

Does DLC for Harmonix games ever go on sale? I never got into the Guitar Hero or Rockband type games, so I have no clue if I should just buy DLC now or wait for there to be some sort of bundle or sale.

This game is outstandingly fun and will most likely steal a lot of rockband time away. (Although they are made by the same people)

Lets get some vids of real people playing starting with this sexy black girl. (How she playing in a kitchen? Kinect needs like 10 ft of space?)

NOTE!!!! THIS IS NOT MY SISTER!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F-_24JbbXnM

Dang but she is indeed sexy. What an odd apartment layout. Who has a huge HDTV in their kitchen and a clothes closet right beside it? Dorm, maybe?

Yeah she must live in the hood but god damn is she worth risking life and and a beat down to pick up.
