Picked up RBTP: Classic Rock and RBTP: Country for $3.xx and $8.xx last week. I was finally able to use the 10 Geoffrey Dollars that I have had in a drawer for over a decade.
He said Geoffrey Dollars, wow.

Wow, Geoffrey Dollars... This is giving me flashbacks of buying NES and SNES games from TRU with those tickets that you had to pay for and then redeem for the actual game.

Picked up Spiderman WOS for $19.98 for PS3 and Hawk for $6
Saw another Uncharted for $6

This Uncharted business is disturbing to me. There were two copies at Tustin TRU at that price. My friends bought them. Uncharted is in the TRU Black Friday ad for $15. You mean to tell me for the biggest sale day of the year, they are going to be raising the price by nine bucks? I know I'm complaining in the wrong thread, but BF this year is weak sauce.
I've been living the CAG lifestyle all year, making this BF in particular a real let down.

Wal-Mart seems solid this year, and there is Amazon.

Did the Wal Mart ad get out? How did I miss that? I hope it's good, I haven't missed a BF "fun run" in the last 5 years. I'll never go back to Wal Mart, particularly on that day, but they tend to set the bar, price-wise, which Amazon will hopefully match. I'm cool with that.

The cashier I got had no idea, but an older woman came to help him and knew exactly what to do. As I was leaving, she told the cashier she was going to buy the Geoffrey Dollars that I had used when her shift was up.

For a while it wasn't even MY gas. An ex gf who I was still friendly with was unemployed at the time and we were going all around the tri-state(NY/NJ/PA) area looking for deals that I saw on CAG.Nothing like going through $50 of gas every week. Damn my lead foot.

I provided the cash for the stock, she provided the gas and vehicle and we were supposed to split any profits.
However I soon realized most of the stuff we were trying to grab was only worth what we were buying it for.

So since then I've scaled back buying a lot of anything and she's gone back to a normal job.
But it was fun while it lasted.
